All these years posting here and I still can't post a frecken picture in my thread. Please do tell..............:thumbs: :thumbs:

Billy, its not as easy as it looks. and there could be a better way, but this is how i do it.

First i find a picture that fits the topic (hence the Jackass picture in 4-Losw's thread) usually i use Google image search to find them.

Once i find one that i like, you have to right click the image and then click "view image"

After that you need to copy the URL image that starts with http:// and whatever else it is.

Above the reply box, there is a button that says "IMG" once you click that it will ask for that Link. enter the link and it will show up as the URL in the post but if you preview it or post it, the picture will show up.

Little helpful tips for copying and pasting

Copy = "Ctrl + C"
Paste = "Ctrl + V"

You can use them to copy the links easier and paste it eaiser into the proper image location :thumbs:

I gotta question. All this caught me off guard a little so I hope I make sense.

In grading a contest in the NASCAR forum I use a spreadsheet that Stanley in the Golf Fourm created. He said to post the spreadsheet I need to save it as a .jpg (or something like that) file....copy it to a server and then post the hyperlink kinda like Get Paid was refering to.

I got the spreadsheet....but could not even figure out how to save it as a .jpg file. So I scrapped the rest of the thing and am just doing a little copy/paste with the thing to get part of it on the NASCAR fourm.

Can you make sense out of or help with any of this????

What program are you using for the spreadsheet and does it have a "save for web" in the file area? If you have wordperfect 10 or some other program you should be able to save the file for the web.

Its on Excel....MS2000 I think. I know it is Excell. When I get home I will look at that Save for Web deal. Looks like I have Save and Save AS...but not sure about Save for Web.

I never worked with Excel so if you have trouble let me know and you can send it to me and I will convert it for you. Should i post my email so you can save it?

It's called "Save As Web Page" and it is located right unde"save' and "save as"
