I have an acct at Sirbet and LOVE the baseball lines. I can usually get a couple of points better then most lines posted by Adam or QuickNick or others in the forum.
Just throwing that out there to those looking for a dime line book that don't already have one.

If your playing baseball with a 20 cent line your dogs aren't paying the money you COULD be getting!

I'm not sure I undersand the question.
They offer 10 cent lines on wagers less than dimes. Their just called dime lines.
You can bet $6 and still get a dimeline at those books.
Is that what you meant?

Pinnacle uses 8 cent LINES the best place to make wagers on bases most use a 10 cent line some still use a 20 cent line or a progressive 20 cent line, if you are still betting on baseball using a 20 cent line or a progressive 20 cent line chances are they are laughing at you when you call in your bets you are being scammed this is what you are doing to yourself betting on baseball using a 20 cent line  this is what you should be walking around in if you are using a 20 cent line :bag: this is the face of your bookmaker who is dealing you a 20 cent line :D

I read somewhere that Oly is going to have dime lines this year. That would be great.

When a book is using dime lines, am i correct in assuming that if the favorite is -150, then the dog would be +140?

That's what i thought. Thanks!
I wanted to point out then that Bodog does NOT use dime lines for baseball, despite being listed here as offering them.
Everything is 20 cent lines, up to -190 and goes to 30 cent and beyond from there.
Exhibition, or reg season, lines are the same too.
For example, last night's game:
NYY -1.5 (-165)
TB +1.5 (+145)
One of today's exhibition game lines:
Orioles -130
Marlins +110
Just didn't want anyone to open up an acct there believing they were offering dime lines, when in fact it appears they are not.

I was pleased when i read this thread, thinking bodog was going to have dime lines, since i have an account with them.
I go to their site, and no dime lines, which really didn't shock me at all with the way they juice their basketball lines. I checked the site today however, and it seems they're offering dime lines on the moneyline only, up to -140 or so. Better than nothing i guess.
I also checked out another site (not a sponsor) that had an ad right on their homepage that said that ALL of their MLB lines will be dime lines...but out of every line, i saw 2 that actually were dime lines. I called them and asked if they're gonna have dime lines or not, and they said "Those were the best lines they could offer on those games".
I told them "Nice false advertising" and hung up. LMAO

Does Sirbet has a dime line or 8 cents?
And what does Pinny have, 5 cents to start with or also just dime line?
Chris
04-07-2004, 03:10 PM
I think Sirbet and pinnacle are both 8 cent lines. anyone dealing under a 10 cent line is shadowing pinnacle's line moves. I highly doubt they have there own opinions.

This is a good topic especially for anyone new to the game whether on a local or otherwise. If we do not lookout for ourselves...who will.
