Hello ladies, I’m off to Vegas for a family holiday soon and am interested in showing my wife a bit of the casino glamour. I was just wondering if there are any women out there whose success story I could relate to my wife as an incentive to give the game a go. She’s a scientist by nature and so the statistical application and logics I think would interest her. As would the people reading. However, obviously poker has a reputation as a man’s game and I can imagine the casinos could be a little intimidating (especially if you’ve never played before) and so for this, I want to give her a little background info before we go. But in as “beginner friendly” way as possible. I remember something about a lady winning a big poker title recently (may have been the Golden Bracelet, I’m not sure) – things like this I think would really serve as an inspiration.
