Well there is more to today than just the deadline so here's what im playin
Canucks @ -157 to win 2 units over St Louis
St louis has sold off its talent for the most part, waived cajanek and is without the key to their mini resurgance Legace. Even if they come out game tonight they should be hopelessly overmatched. The nucks however haven't impressed me a lot lately despite their record, they have been sloppy, taken a lot of penalties and played down to their competition a bit too much for my liking.. Smolinski and Sopel make their way into the line up tonight and while I dont expect either to be huge impact players they will be good fits here. Winnable game, a game the nucks could use to build their northwest lead and they should be pumped to have the new additions. Canucks game to lose I dont see them doing that.
Islanders -207 to win 2 units over Philly
The Isles have gotta be on a high. Smyth wont be in the line up but they have to feel like they can compete with anybody in the east right now. Now the only thing in the way is making the playoffs. 2 games in hand at least for the isles and this ones a very winnable game. I expect the good vibe in the room to be enough to win this one but they are the better team and the better team playing better right now. Doesn't hurt that its in the isles yard.
