Just thought since the trades were coming down the wire, it'd be interesting to see what you guys think of them and how they affect a teams potential playoff run.

My nucks just picked up Sopel and Smolinski for next to nothing. 2nd and a 4th for Sopel and Smolinski for a conditional 2nd.

Smolinski and Nazzy for our third line now. Sopel is a 5th depth dman which pushes Krajicek and Fitzpatrick down the depth chart. I hope Krajicek gets the bench but more likely it'll be Rory. Moves that really solidify the team up front and on the back end. I liked vancouver before these moves, but they just got deeper. Im curious to see what moves they have left if any.

Since you like your Nucks so much, you should pick up some futures on them for $5/share at WSEX. Not a bad price if you think they can go deep into the playoffs...

Doesn't look like the Leafs will do anything....we are getting Tucker, Wellwood and PEca back before the end of the year, so it is like picking up 3 pretty good players it it's own right.

Look out for firesales in Florida and Phoenix?

leafs need to do something get big bert, only cost 1.1 mill against the cap, :bang:

leafs made a nice pick up with Perrault.

Bert in Detroit, could be a nice pick up if he's healthy.

Guerin to the sharks was big. They needed defensive help tho, Rivet wasn't the right move imo.

I've never used wsex, should check out the share thing.

I did bet on the canucks right before xmas when they were shitting the bed against everyone and got them at a very nice 45 to 1 to go the distance. They're like 18-19 to 1 last I checked.

see the thing with Tucker looks nice. He should be back next week or the week after. Him and Perrault will be nice additions. The way it looks is Peca will be back no to long after wellwood since Welly is still 4 weeks away and that could still be longer.

It will be good if the Leafs make it to the big dance but it looks like they will need to make it without wellwood and Peca.
