Not sure if anyone on here is looking at the SLU/UMass game tonight. The line is currently UMass -10. I'm not picking this one, but thought I'd give everyone a little info:
Before anyone bets on this one, you may want to go to a SLU fan board to see if you can find out the status of Liddell tonight. He is SLU's best player....also has a very good chance of playing at the next level. He has a sprained toe...the big toe nail was bent 2/3 of the way back...OUCH! He is questionable and may not play tonight.
If he doesn't go, SLU is going to be at a distinct disadvantage playing in Amherst tonight against a UMass team that is playing very well and is also playing for the A10 regular season championship.
May be a chance to get some good value with UMass if you can confirm Liddell is out tonight...of course, even if he goes, he won't be near 100%. Maybe a UMass player will step on that toe...that would hurt like bloody hell.
SLU bad on the road + if Liddell is out + UMass @ home playing for an A10 Championship = Good shot of UMass covering the big number tonight.
Won't be able to keep track of this one myself because I'm leaving to go to a bar that has ESPNU so I can watch X/UD.
