Sticking solely with the A10 today as it seems to be working.

I may get trapped on one of these two sides, but I don't think I'll get trapped in both...so:

St. Joe's -9 @ Richmond -- Would have liked to get this one at -7, but I didn't act quickly enough. Either way, "if its under 10, this fat guy is in." Richmond has packed it up for the season. They are young and simply not very good. They won't even make the A10 tourney this year...OUCH! St. Joe's still has a chance to win the A10 regular season. The "trap game" issue scares me a little bit here because St. Joe won Thursday night against inner city rival Temple and they also have to play @ Xavier next Wednesday. Normally, I'd probably stay away from this....but this is purely an anti Richmond play. Martelli will have his guys focused enough to win by DDs against this poor Richmond team.

Xavier -5.5 @ UD -- This line dropped from -6.5, which is really strange to me...especially with the public hitting X. Again, I'd normally stay away....think this line is low becuase: 1) UD has only lost one game @ UD Arena this year; and 2) because historically, in this rivalry, XU has not fared well at UD Arena. Having said that, these are two teams going in very different directions. UD is 6-9 in their last 15. XU is on a 6 game win streak where they have won by an average of 25 ppg. UD lost starting senior Monty Scott and Sandoval and Marcus Johnson are not 100% healthy. Winning this game would make UD's season...but I just don't think they have the horses this year to stick with an experienced X team who is playing very focused. Cage, Cole, Duncan and Doellman are going to be a tough matchup inside for UD and I think Lavender will continue to play a solid point guard. I think this is going to be a very close game for about 30 minutes....but I forsee X pulling away with free throws near the end and winning by 8-10 points.

Favorite Play Of The Day

Dukes/Bonaventure U 187.5 -- This line is high because of the Dukes style of play and the fact that on February 3rd, the Dukes won @ Bonaventure 111-92. However, since that game, Bonaventure has lost starting SG Fereti and Calvin Johnson. Both quit the team after getting into a fight with HC Solomon. Fereti had 23 against the Dukes in their first meeting. His gun slinging style was conducive to the Dukes' style of play. Since the Dukes game, Bonaventure has scored, 68, 70, 62 and 44 points.

The Dukes may get in the 90's...although I have to wonder if their legs aren't getting tired. But I don't see Bona having the players to score enough to get this one to go over such a high number. Dukes in the high 80's low 90's....Bonnie maybe mid to high 70's.

I think the Dukes will probably cover the number on the side...but why mess with the side when the U looks so inviting?

Really liking this one to stay well under the total.

Come on!!!....sorry, the UD win @ UD is big for X. Won by 8.....I better be careful...might think I've got this A10 thing.

GO X!!!
