Pro Bowl Saturday Feb 10th

NFC +4

I've had a fair bit of success with the Pro Bowl plays the past few years including the NFC +4 last year. I like this year's play even better. The AFC is seen as the better conference and that has them laying 4 points on a neutral site. Instant line value so let's look a bit deeper. Manning has played well in past Pro Bowls but he's normally played with a chip on his shoulder due to playoff failures. This year is completely different coming off a Super Bowl win along with several other Pro Bowl teammates. Can you blame the Colts players if they're unfocused and out of gas after a crazy week and a big emotional high? Manning in particular has made some great comments this week which makes me think he won't be as sharp as in the past and he won't have his Colt's coaching staff this time around. I like the NFC QB rotation much better. Brees had a tremendous season and he'll be running his own coach's offence. Bulger threw for 4 TDs in a 55-52 NFC win a few years back and Romo ended the season as a bit of a goat and it's his fist Pro Bowl appearance. QB's have made a big difference over the years in this game, especially with the way the rules are set up. The rest looks pretty even and there are added reasons to like the NFC. Special teams favor the NFC and I'd argue Sean Payton would probably be alot more fun to play for in this kind of week compared to Belichick. With the AFC seen as the superior conference and taking the Super Bowl this season, I can see the NFC putting in another good effort like they did last year. The casual bettors see it differently so far with +65% of the action on the AFC. I'll take a piece of the NFC but reduce my bet size a bit because this is still an All-Star game.

A prop that I sort of like is the NFC Team o31 pts for the game. And I agree, the NFC should take this one.

Lots of ways to cash it with this inflated spread and in reality this should be alot closer to a pick 'em.
