Trying Peng again vs Bammer. Although Peng is 1-0 vs Bammer h2h, that lone match was waaay back in 2002, so I'm not putting too much stock in that record. I just feel that Peng should come away with the win the way she's played thus far in the tourney.

One disclaimer, both those matches were on clay, so this is only a play just for the action. Nadia's fitness and mental toughness has always been an issue.

This is one of those rare occasions I will buy my way out of a wager with no harm done. With Petrova's fitness in question and weighing on me all day and with the line movement during the last hour, I'm putting in the following wager...

1u Petrova v Safarova @ +135

I can live with myself if Nadia wins and my second-guessing comes back to "haunt me."

But with Safarova having moved from -110 to +135, I can either come out even (Nadia wins) or ahead by a wee bit (Lucie wins).
