some info:
AFC-NFC Pro Bowl (1971-present)
The AFC and NFC have split the series, each winning 18 games.
Of interesting note is that in the 36 seasons since the AFL-NFL Merger, the NFC has won both the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl 9 times, while the AFC has won both 8 times. In the years they have split, the AFC has won the Pro Bowl and NFC won the Super Bowl 10 times, while the reverse has occurred 9 times.
Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns players have won 4 MVP awards, more than any other teams. The Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams have won 3, while 10 teams have won 2, and 12 teams have won 1 each. The Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers,Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, and Houston Texans have never had a player win an MVP award.
Quarterbacks have won 12 MVP awards; wide receivers are second with 7.
John Madden has never been part of a Pro Bowl broadcast because he has a tremendous fear of flying.
Because of the new NFL television contract, the network which airs the Super Bowl will air the Pro Bowl; the 2007 game is held on the Saturday after Super Bowl XLI because of the 2007 Grammy Awards. The 2008 game, on Fox, will revert to Sunday, because Fox has the Budweiser Shootout on the Saturday after Super Bowl XLII.

I don't know that i can bring myself to bet on this scripted event, but i do know that the defenses are not allowed to stunt or blitz or something stupid like that.
Looks like the posted lines are bringing pretty even action so far too.
I think betting on the pro bowl is more of a guessing game than anything. With the NFL season being over, unlike other sports where they hold their "all star games" mid season or so, who even knows which guys are going to give a shit about playing football, and which ones are just in Hawaii to party.
Just my 3¢ on the issue, lol

I took my Steelers at 15-1 for a little homer play, and maybe we can do that Patriot thing with the win a SB, have a bad season, then win a couple more. 15-1 ain't bad when teams like the Bengals, the Cryhawks, and the Panthers are going off at the same or lower odds.

15-1 isn't bad but you can get better odds on the stealers, but you guys wont get out of your division let alone make a run at anything. Who knows, maybe you guys will trade up in the draft and get a qb who can play.

LMAO, you on the Bungles to overtake the North, or the aging Ravens? Either way, that's comical. I can hear you saying it to yourself now:
"The Bengals are going to win the Super Bowl, ESPN told me so!"

lol bro I dont need espn to tell me anything. I have eyes and they saw quite clearly the joke the stealers became.
Im sure this same time last year it was just as comical to you that Ravens would finish above you in the standings and that the bengals would have more arrests than wins and still finish with the same record as you guys. Not only that but that you'd miss the playoffs but there you were.
If you're asking my opinion, then yeah I belive the ravens and bengals are currently in better positions to take the division then you guys are. I don't think they win the superbowl either and of course the offseason moves will dictate a lot. As it stands I would think that the ravens again take the division and that you guys have the most questions going into the offseason. If they were my team I might wanna look past the questions too but im not so I don't have to.

My only gripe with people saying the Bengals will finish above the Steelers is that I just want them to play longer than Pittsburgh for one time in 25 years and then I'll say it's ok to say. Until then, it's all just people eating up the hype machine of Marv "Probation officer" Lewis.

Hey nittany, you still in denial over that ass-raping the Ravens gave you guys this year?
If it wasn't for a turnover in our own territory and a penalty you guys wouldn't have scored against us at all this year.
Talk about dominations.
58-7 in two games, bwahahahaha.
Don't worry the Browns will keep you company.

LMAO, the Ravens go to the playoffs and lose on their home field one time and ratbird fans are all talking trash. Let's just hope our QB stays off his motorcycle this offseason and everything can go back to the way it is supposed to be.

Thinking about parlaying the over (64.5 right now) w/ the NFC on the ML (+170), just for kicks.
Pays 4 to 1 on my book...
Will give my confirmation later...
Edit-Meant to say NFC

It means your ratbirds are good for 1 year and all of a sudden there's all this trash talk. Win 5 then talk.:yeah:
No, what it means is your fans are all over the place when you're winning, but no where to be found when you're losing.
But if the Ravens juice up for a couple years and get the help of the zebras I'm sure they can win 5.
hahahaha.
Alright enough with that.
I like NFC +4 and the over.

I am taking the Lions to win the Super Bowl. $1 to win 8 Billion.. Can't go wrong.. LMFAO! How much will the LieDowns torture us this year???? It is astounds me. D-town has has success in basketball, baseball, hockey but dammed if the mental midgets that own the Lions will ever allow a culture of winning to be developed. How the fu** do you keep Millen on(worst GM ever)? Them knee pads must be worn out. Ford Field is an awesome venue, probably the best I have ever been to but you better drink alot when the game starts if your a Lions fan!! GL YO..

I totally agree. That is why the Ford boys made Ford Field so nice. Try to take your mind off how crappy the product on the field is.
