Well I am supposed to (according to the system) play 64 units on Denver tonight. Well, I refuse to, just too much money to play on one regular season game. I am going to continue the system, as scheduled, and I am going to try to make up the losses on Denver with varying large size bets. Lets hope it works out for me.

1 Unit Indiana -5.5
4 Units Washington -8
18 Units Denver +7.5
8 units New Orleans OVER 188
8 Units Seattle UNDER 218.5

I don't really know what my plan is. But it took this long for one of the 8 teams I am doing this to hit a 7 game losing streak. If I could have played the ML I wouldn't be in this situation. Don't know if the NBA is right for the nuts system. It works great in NHL though.

hope i have the "nuts" to stick to the routine when MLB comes around if/when someone hits a 7 game losing streak!

The problem with Denver is that they picked up Iverson, and everyone and their brother is infatuated with them and thinks they are all of a sudden a great team now, when in reality the pickup didn't do them any good, and may have possibly hurt them since he's always hurt....but their lines continue to be inflated because the public keeps pounding them. They will be a horrible ATS team the rest of the year. Not saying they won't cover any, but IMO the line will always be against them, and unlike the Suns (another team whose lines are often overblown) they don't have the firepower or consistancy to blow teams out and cover those lines.

Andre Miller is a solid player, and losing Earl Boykins hurt that team WAY more than people realize.

A.I. in place of Miller and Boykins? Not in a million years....not for me anyway....not at his advanced age (by NBA standards) and with the pounding he's taken over the years in Philly.

HORRIBLE move by Denver.

I agree wholeheartedly. Stif. But that's Rex Chapman for ya.
Plus Denver's defense is as bad as Memphis'.

Boo for not putting millions (64) units on Denver at that line.

But hey Stif, a win is a win! Nice work bud.

Im impressed that youre man enough to admit that you wouldnt throw 64 units on a regular season game... Ive quietly been watching your system and have been noticing Denver blowing it up for you lately... As we both know now, Denver just wasnt the right team to do it with... I think your system is still credible but using a 2nd tier Western Conference team that the public pounds nightly because of Melo and AI is a tough pill to swallow when it was something you had no idea would happen... GL trying to win it back... Its gonna be a dangerous journey trying to win those units back playing basically big spot plays on Denver... Maybe you could trade Denver in for an Eastern Conference team???

Thanks for the discussion guys. I missed out on it though b/c of my family situation. I didn't like the trade and what it would do to the "system", but I carried forward anyway. I believe if Denver wins tonight I will be in the positive and will probably stop Denver in the nuts. I have also stopped the over/unders, just didn't like it. I'm thinking of adding more NHL. Not really sure of what I am going to do in the NBA. If you have thoughts let me know, but I do agree with all of you that Denver is not the right "fit" for this system anymore.

I think toronto or Sacto or houston might be a viable team for the nuts.
