I can't lie. Boy do I miss being able to wager on the games. I'd start out Saturday mornings with over/unders on some european soccer matches, then move on to college hoops in the afternoons and evenings.

I don't see how any of this legislation will ever be overturned. Look how long it took to shut them down - it will take equally as long, well, no, it will take *twice* as long to open them back up - and I'll tell you what - there isn't a congressman or woman who will want to be the first one to propose such a change and allow online gaming in the US. After all, it was the Republicans who shut us down - they are normally 'less government'. And the Dems? Well, they thrive on protecting us from ourselves.

The more I think about it, the more I realize this isn't coming back. Ever.

Unless someone out there has some very good rationale, I have to stop grieving and pick up a new hobby - maybe gardening in -35 weather? Yeah, that's what I'll do....

It was never Legal in the first place. Just a grey area that was exploited.

I realize that beerman...my point was now if we ever want to play again, they have to legalize it.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of solid books out there that still allow US citizens to gamble.

bet365 was the only book that offered the soccer leagues I bet on. And, if you look in the General bb, Kevin posted an ominous warning for all of us.

That's what I'm talking about.
