Let me introduce myself along with the vast majority of gamblers like myself.
You go to work. You pay taxes on what you earn.
You go to the store, out to eat, getting gas, you pay taxes on what you buy from the money that you earned that you were taxed on.
You are told you can't gamble legally unless you go to a casino, and that if you win money at that casino, you are taxed on your winnings. The winnings that came from the money used from your work, that you were already taxed on.
You are told you live in the land of the free, home of the brave. Let freedom ring, have freedom of speech, and that as a citizen you have rights.
You want to be able to use/spend your money that you want to. You like to gamble, You can't fly to Vegas to bet on sports every day. You would go broke. So you shut me down from online, because you can't use Pay Pal, Neteller, Western Union or Fire Pay.
You guess the good thing is with all this money you won't have a use for, you can start a new hobby.
Say drugs and then you can get so high you can go kill somebody and maybe get a reduced sentence because you weren't in the right frame of mind, and under the influence.
Maybe you could start a gun collection, and every time, you know you would've bet on that team and it wins, you could go on a shooting spree. You could say temporary insanity, and go to a mental hospital and live with the crazies. Because after all you along with millions of others are going to go crazy if they can't bet on their favorite team, sport, or as you call it investment.
But what it will really boil down to, is you will get back to legalized gambling by buying calls and puts on the option markets. When you make money, you can rape me again by taxing me, and when you have a few losers, you can claim it on my taxes to offset my gains.
After all you will be helping the economy by keeping the legalized crooks in business.
Seriously though, because of a few nut jobs in a foreign country that don't like what the government or Americans do, you and others are held hostage in your own country.
If you want to play a little poker, bet on some horses, bet on the big game, or play some black jack, you can't do it online anymore, or at least you're pretty damn close to not being able to do it.
You guess you can always watch that ever present Oprah and learn how to feed the poor with your extra money, or better yet, you can go to a foreign country and teach them the ways of gambling.
