I gotta "cash card" from a sportsbook.com. Something like you get a special code and enter in the # and it randomly gives you a cash bonus. I didn't have an account there, so I signed up through Kevin's link in his signature (so UC would get credit) and once I signed up I entered my code and found that I got a free $20.00.

So I am going to see if I can turn this free $20.00 into $1,000.00 before Christmas. I am going to post in the GD forum as it will involve all sports and I am going to keep it all in one thread.

I know we don't post after the fact wagers, but these were all $5.00 wagers so bitch at me if you want (and I actually did post them in my "nuts" threads):

GL man...it can be done, although $20 is pretty low. I threw in $75 in Pinny in early Oct and had it up to $975 right before Thanksgiving. Of course, i then lost that in the span of 4 days but that's neither here nor there.

I got the same cash card from them aswell, $20. They are pumping advertising hard I guess as I got stuff in the mail today and got the Cash Card in my email last Friday. I got mine because I had an account with way back and also have a Paradise Poker account they said (which I guess they are partners with).

Horfin- i got a free 50.00 from aces.com a year ago or so and ended up cashing out for about 3000 when all was said and done. I went for it big early, figuring get it up high enough so you could make some big wagers. I was betting like -300 ML's (300/100) and hitting. Got lucky i guess that i hit a hot streak. Believe it or not, i had a huge original parlay out and the thing wins on the last play of the MICH/PSU game on a TD pass where the guy really was out of bounds (sorry Nittany...lmao...) but it counted.....it is kind of fun to do...so GL!....:thumbs:

PS...why don't you just start betting it to double it for the first few. You are going to take years to get there going 5.00 at a time, IMO....

I really want to see how big I can get this while minimizing my risk. So I decided to stick with $5 bets until I hit $100, once I hit $100 I am going to do 5% of my balance. Just trying to be smart and not go for the whole kit-n-kabootle in one swoop. I guess it is just a difference in philosophy (I am pretty conservative - minimize risk of loss).

I say go for it. Its actually pretty fun. The key is to win the first few. I tried this before (I found $15 in an account I had forgotten about) I was going to try and grow it as much as I could.

Result: 1 day 3 bets, 3 losses. I am being more selective with this try.
