GL! Tough game to call, IMHO. Xavier is the better team on paper, but that doesn't mean shit. Both teams are inconsistent. Hawks @ home coming off two conference losses should be hungry against one of their biggest A10 Rivals.

Huge game for X as well. They play the majority of their road conference games in January. Beat Fordham handily @ Fordham (Fordham beat the Hawks) but lost in a head scratcher @ SLU. (SLU has lost to St. Bonnie, Fordham and Duquesne)

X has much more experience and the Hawks are turnover prone. Could be a field day for Lavender, who is starting to get many more steals a game since A10 play started.

Guess it just depends on which X team shows up. If X plays well, they win by DDs. If they are tired and uninspired after the big win on Thursday night against UMass, then St. Joe wins.

Home court certainly helps here.

A10 is just plain tough to call this year....Best of Luck!

Thanks Nigel...I know exactly what you're saying. I'm from Rhide Island so I follow PC and URI. URI has looked bad at times this year but then they go on the road and pull off the Philly sweep and are on top of the A10.
