Have you ever seen a "Top 10" team have to work so hard to get a shot off as Duke does?

Paulus is an atrocity of a player, and Scheyer is a good shooter who in time might be very good, but right now is not a big time college guard. And all "highly touted" Gerald Henderson does is pound the ball into the hardwood....

6-1 QBs normally struggle at the top level, save a couple. He made the right choice.

you guys and your low lined road chalk.........it just isn't easy winning games on the road......you will flame out with a game like DAVID -4 many more times than you will hit with it which is why i just won't play them (meaning low road favorites) anymore........

and WichSt just doesn't have it right now.......i was looking for a better effort tonight from them....

Seems that they can't stop Furman, but on the bright side Furman can't stop them. On every update on Yahoo they've been down 1. The Furman radio cast on Yahoo is free tonight, but they never work for me.

FF, you know me better than to give me this speech. I'm not a road chalk layer normally, but Davidson has proven that they can go into tougher places than FURMAN and win convincingly. I pick my spots, and this one was a good spot.

wasn't directing that all at you, i was directing it more at the comment of what's up with Davidson. I am telling you, i got murdered about 3 years ago playing games like this and i swore them all off. I still follow them each night and they really do flame out probably about 75 percent of the time. Conference games are also different than non conference games. Teams know each other much better and a team like Furman is going to be much more fired up to beat Davidson at home than an ASU team who could frankly probably care less about the game. I think you will end up cashing the ticket tonight in all honesty......:thumbs: ....

By the way, can we get some MVC games on TV anytime soon? Mizz St. at Creighton I believe was on ESPN and broadcasted by what seemed like their 3rd tier crew. How about CBS or ESPN+ picks up a few games during the season ?

don't know what happened to them all....over the past few years i have gotten them on the FOX channels on my cable....they used to always have a game of the week on Saturday and at least one on Sunday. That is how i found out and started following the league about 3 years ago. I have been looking all year long and can't find them......don't get it....

I'm not big on adding on at the half unless I really feel sure about it. Usually is better to just let it ride out, there's still 20 minutes to play and I'm sure Davidson will get a nice halftime talk about how they can't lose these types of games if they want to be dancing in March.

GT doesn't have an offense? They don't seem to run plays, there is no flow to the game at all for them unless they are run and gun, and he waits to call a timeout until the lead gets all the way down th 2 points from 11???

When GT wins, they win because they are athletically gifted and for no other reason...

EXACTLY...they always look like a rec league team, a damn good rec league team, but always like they are running on instinct alone.But Duke, man they are just too damn white this year to beat people with real athleticism.
