Kinda scares me, even as unimpressed as I have been with Duke all year (it gives me pleasure to think of Duke as this year's Clemson:play a bunch of cupcakes at home, then get bombed when the going gets tough). However, as much as I do not like Duke, I wonder:can Paulus really be that bad????
He sure looks it.
Normally I would give five points to Duke just for coaching alone ( I like Hewitt but he is a better recruiter than bench coach in my opinion)...sheesh, am sooo tempted to take Duke and points, but in this case...I think I will sit it out and enjoy it immensely if the Yellow Jackets beat em. GL:gulp:

PS:

I pulled this from another site and it made me want to mortgage the house to bet Duke, but I held off LOL

OK FOLKS LAST NIGHT MY GOLD MEDAL PLAY OF THE DAY WAS A 10 POINT WIN JUST LIKE I PREDICTED ON ALABAMA. TODAY I HAVE ANOTHER RARE GOLD MEDAL WINNER ALONG WITH MY BRONZE MEDAL WINNER OF THE DAY. I AM NOW 16-1-1 ON MY GOLD MEDAL PLAYS AND 7-1 ON MY BRONZE MEDAL PLAYS. TONIGHTS GOLD MEDAL PLAY IS GEORGIA TECH. DUKE IS NOT AS ATHLETIC OR AS HUNGRY FOR A WIN THAN THE YELOW JACKETS TONIGHT. DUKE IS A PUBLIC TEAM THAT GETS WAY TO MUCH CREDIT ALL THE TIME THIS WILL BE I REPEAT WILL BE A DOUBLE DIGIT WIN FOR GT.

BOL Underdoggie....

I saw that Duke team at Cameron indoor....if another team comes in there with point guard (cause Duke doesn't have one) and a center to neutralize McRoberts the Devils can be gotten! The Jackets just may have the answer on both counts as well as the other positions!

Beat a bunch of nobody's at home?

Beat Indiana at home
Beat Georgetown at home
Davidson, Kent St are no slouches to beat home or away

Beat Air Force on a neutral court
Beat Gonzaga on a neutral court

Guys, I know some of you hate Duke, but it is pretty clear Duke has had one of the toughest schedules this season.

Duke just has not looked impressive. The IU game was downright ugly. Who knows what Gonzaga is really bringing to the table this year. That was basically a home game for Duke, as well. Air Force and G-town were solid (though G-town was up like 10 at halftime).

The key is probably how Scheyer plays tonight as he will probably be seeing major minutes. Paulus has been downright awful (and can't be feeling good after two of the most embarassing plays of the year: Having a Tech player literally jump over him and having a pass bounce off his face on the last possession of that overtime)

I like Tech..but prob. not enough to play them. In a weird way, getting away from Cameron may actually do the Dukies some good here (similar to the Cuse playing AT Marquette the other night). This can sometime reduce pressure on a team...

just unimpressed with them.I do hate them when Dick Vitale turns into a cheerleader rather than a commentator, but that is old and nauseatingly familiar. GL UD ...:gulp:

Tonight is the exact spot you have to love any Duke team. I know this is our youngest team in the past 50 years, but we have Coach K and we wont lose tonight. I may end up eating crow later on tonight but boy, do I love the spot were in tonight.

Duke is going to make their 10th straight trip to the Sweet 16 this year. The tough ACC schedule will only help us, tonight is a big game. As Duke does, Duke will earn the respect of many tonight. Paulus has struggled for most of the season, I bet he has a huge game tonight.

gl with all your plays, I sure do love college basketball:thumbs:

GL GMan...this def. does seem like a potentially good spot for Duke.

GL tonight UDoggie!!!

Don't forget everyone that GTech is even younger a team than Duke is. Should be a fun game. I hope GT size inside and speed at PG is the difference.

Also, wasn't Clinch kicked off the team or something the other day?

Clinch is/was not the PG, he was the SG. Crittenton is the PG.
