Pitt -1.5 at DePaul.

DePaul is a very schizo team, with a win over Kansas but losses to St. Johns, UAB and Bradley.

Seems trappish, but I don't think Pitt suffers any sort of let-down here.

Anyone else have anything on the radar?

As easy a time as i had with Tuesday's card (4-0 and managed not to get sucked into the UNI game), i am having that hard a time on initial glance with Wednesday.

As far as PITT, i think there is something to be said for staying away from low low lined road favorites. More times than not they are sucker lines. Hawaii -3, and ULL -4 over Denver both from Saturday, UNI -2 over IllSt Tuesday....not to say a road team won't cover, but i will say it again........the fastest way to the poor house (and i learned a few times the hard way) is to play low lined road favorites, especially in the shitty conferences. Depaul has been up and down this year. PITT seems like a good play, but then so did all those other ones.

TENN -1 at Vandy is screaming sucker line to me, as well (another road favorite). TENN really has been inconsistent, even within the same half of a game.

An under the radar game i am looking at, but will have to see what a couple of my game day sources have to offer on it before i play it is STBON -2 over RICH....Richmond has been really awful. I had Tulane over them catching 3 after Xmas and Tulane beat them by 20.

I also like ILL -8 tomorrow. This is a rivalry that not many people know about. ILL and Iowa are border states and a lot of Iowa's students come from the Chicago area. They also compete for players in basketball and football. The crowd is always hostile to Iowa when they play there. ILL really needs a win bad, and IMO Iowa sucks. I love ILL here coming off that 28% shooting effort vs. Ohio State, in what is a must must win for them.

I will also play WICHST on the ML which should be about -170. They will beat INDST tomorrow in what is really a must win for them if they want any shot at the conference title. And quite frankly, they can't afford to lose too many games in conference if they want to make the tourney because wins over Tennessee and Syracuse are looking less and less impressive as those teams' seasons wear on.....

how about uconn -9? coming back home with +1 day of rest on marquette after being blown out in baton rouge by lsu. marquette been blown out back-to-back at providence and at home v. syracuse. conn is great at home and marquette seems really to be struggling.

duke +3 and ML....coach K is just to good of a coach

tulane +3.5 @ rice...since im in new orleans i know a little bit about tulane. they seem to have a squad this year. them and UNO with bo mccalleb are definitely surprising.

unc -17.5? v. va unc seems to just have too much offense.

nothing concrete jsut throwing sutff out there and feel free to fade me....ur guaranteed a winner:thumbs:

I think this game will show a lot about where this Duke team is right now. They haven't played well this season, and one of the worst things you can do is assume they are going to turn it around just because of the name on the front of their jersey. I don't know if i am going to play the game, but i will surely be interested in seeing the outcome and how Duke plays. Also, GTECH is off an awful loss to CLEM where they basically gave the game away in the last couple seconds after leading most of the 2nd half. Don't know what their mindset is going to be, but i can't believe they wouldn't be focused for Duke.

I was looking at UCONN. I am interested to see if MARQ is still without whatever the guys name is who didn't play vs. SYR and is one of their top scorers......

TULANE caught my eye. I had them earlier in the year as a 2 point dog vs. Richmond and they drilled Richmond. That is on my possibility list right now......RICE is a 1 man team...

Purdue +8.5 at Indiana is a game I'm looking at right now. A rivalry game between what I see as 2 very even teams, the points may be kind in that one.

Indiana State +4 at home agains Wichita State. I'll stand by my assessment of WSU being overrated, and throw in that whole MVC home team ordeal. Illinois State toppled UNI today, so ISU is definitely live in that one.

UConn -9 at home against Marquette. UConn has been wrecking people at home and the youngsters got a taste of the road and will be happy to be back home.

Buffalo -1.5 against Kent State at home. Buffalo has seemed to be a tough home team so far this year, leading Pitt by DD's for a large portion of the game earlier this year.

Any other thoughts on these games?

Right now I like..

Indiana St. +4 vs Wichita St.

Pitt (-1.5) @ Depaul

and I'm still undecided on the duke/gtech game, leaning towards duke though

Anyone have any thoughts on the other MVC game tomorrow, another home dog....Southern Illinois @ Bradley (+2), this will be S.Ill. 3rd straight road game and they are coming off a loss @ N. Iowa and Bradley is returning home off a SU win @ Drake
