Hello to all and GL as we try to win some more money today. Here is how i see the games breaking down today.
Jets vs. New England(-9)
This seems to me like a very big spread for a playoff game considering that anyone who does the smallest bit of research in the game can see that it will be no blowout. Since Mangini was on Bill's staff, they know how each other like to play and also their tendencies. This is going to be a well played chess match, a field position battle, and definatly not a steam roll performance. The problem is, the patriots become a different team altogether when the playoffs come around. Their defense isnt as great as their superbowl teams, but getting the win at home shouldnt be that difficult at all. Look for them to keep it close. Also, im weary of the O/U 38, i can see this game getting ugly with total points if jets are behind late, this will gamble, take their shots, and try to pull out a win.
Jets +9 (2Units)
Giants vs. Philadelphia
Now since I am a Philadelphia Fan, hometown favorite, I normally dont like to bet on their games when im feeling uncertain. If you bet with your heart and not your head, you can lose a lot of money fast. If i were playing this game I would not be so sure of taking them a whole -7 at home, although they easily covered a few weeks back at the Meadowlands, you just never know which team will show up. Hands down the Eagles are playing great TEAM football. No selfish plays, thoughts, and everyone is just going out and pulling it together for the win. Now the Giants are pretty beaten up, but you have to remember that this could be Tiki's last game. I know I would try to pull out all the stops to try and get a W and make this appear to be a fairytale ending all in all. The only other Play I am looking at that is worth a shot here would be the O/U, With Philly's home town behind them (believe me it is quite loud in the Linc) I believe it will help them push their team for more, hopefully Andy isnt going to try and play the ball control game although i think he will. I look for this to be close, but to go over the posted 46, not by much. and whatever the eagles have in the end, the Giants will not be far behind. GO EAGLES!!!!
