Potito Starace +140 over G. Lopez

Starace is 2-0 lifetime v. Lopez with both victories coming back in '04. He has a 3-1 record at this tournament with all four matches being played last year. Both players have struggled as of late on hard courts but I'll take the doggie who has been there before.

Youzhny -138 over Monfils

Mikhail had a breakout season last year, starting at the US Open. He made a memorable run, knocking off Nadal in the process. Up close, he was just a beast. I do not see Monfils being able to keep up if they get into a slugfest. These two have met once before on the hard courts at Cincinnati in 2005. Youzhny came away with a three set victory, winning the last two sets one and one and was able to break Monfils 5 times.

On it as well but took Youzhny cause Monfils might have a sprained ankle in this match. Otherwise it's a 50/50 match. Good Luck and let's hope Mikhail comes to play!!!!

WTD: 1-2 (-1.25 UNITS)

Almost never lay chalk this high. I usually don't play a fave over -200, but I like Murray in this spot too much to pass up.
Murray finished last season on a high note, taking on the services of Brad Gilbert and posting impressive hard court victories over Ljubicic and Federer. Not too shabby. Although I do not see him winning a Grand Slam, he should be able to improve on his R16 finishes at last years slams, perhaps even making a semifinal or two.

He is making his first appearance at Doha, but has looked to be in top form already, having defeated Christopher Rochus one and three in just 84 minutes. Murray was able to break Christopher 5 times and won an impressive 36/67 points on his return. Murray downed the Beast in their only previous meeting.
Risking 13.75 units to win 5.00 :jig:
