Wyoming will have the best player on the floor in Brandon Ewing when they travel to Milwaukee on Wedn . UW MILW strugglin this year 2-11.

Interesting game .. I like the MOUNTAIN WEST .. Good Conference IMO .

Wyo , Air Force, S Diego St, Unvl is solid, Colo St only lost a couple games .

New Mexico just beat Wichita

Another game is Ohio / Rhode Island ... Kinda leaning towards Rhode Island

After getting crushed against Providence about 3 weeks ago, Rhode Island hasn't been playing too bad . Beat Utah,Brown, and Boston U and gave Depaul all they could handle before losing by 8

Ohio has been OK .. Couple decent wins over marist , st joes, almost beat Louisville .. lost by 3 in that game..

The Mac has not been too impressive so far IMO .. In the West Division not one team is over .500 this year

This has under written all over it .. SMU currently ranked 4th in the natiion in Field Goal % defense (35.2%)

SMU is a decent team with players who do lots of things well.

Big Man Bamba Fall 7'1" Shotblocker who played prep at Oak Hill Academy is currently 11th in the nation in blocked shots.

Another key role player is Jon Killen who has played in every game of his career at SMU and is currently the Conf USA leader in Steals and Assists . 24th and 30th nationally in those two categories..

SMU is led in Scoring by 3 other players. Ike Ofoegbu 6'8", Devon Pearson 6'6" and Derrick Roberts 6'4" ( Roberts can shoot the 3. over 50% from 3 ball on the season for Roberts)

SMU's only loss is a 7 point loss on the road at Flo St .. They did a good job of containing Al Thorton in that game. Held him to 15 total points on 4-8 shooting from the field. They held a one point margin at the half in that lone loss

OKLAHOMA has been solid on the defensive end . Held Tulsa to their lowest point total of the year (48).

Since losing at home to Nova on Dec 6th, Sooners have given up an average of 51.66 ppg. The game prior to Nova, Oklahoma held TCU to 35 total points. Only 12 in the second half .
