NBA YTD
8-4 (+2.72)
San Antonio -6.5 (-113) .... 2 units
Few reasons why i really like this play :
1. Depth. New Orleans only has about 8 players right now they can play. They are missing their 2nd,3rd and 5th leading scorers. David West,Peja, and Bobby Jackson. San Antonio had 10 players play atleast 10 minutes last night. They have a solid bench with players who can score and defend with Robert Horry , and Mike Finley leading the way.
2. San Antonio has owned this series of late. Spurs have won 3 straight and covered 3 straight. In five of the last six the number has been no lower than 4. San Antonio has covered 5 of the last 6 vs NO/OK with the average spread being about 9.5.
3. Popovich challenged his players to pick up the intensity last night on the defensive end and they responded. Held Minnesota to 26 second half points. I look for that to carry over to tonight.
GOOD LUCK
