EW has scored well on the road. They average about 85 pts a game away from home against some decent competition too. They have played Gonz,UNLV,Wash,CS NORTH,and Portland on the road so far, scoring atleast 75 points in each game.
Santa Clara has had trouble at the Free Throw line, only 65 % so if it comes down to free throw shooting, they may have trouble putting EW away. Also they don't shoot the 3 ball that well , only 29% on the year.

Wonk....I'm headed to Durham next week for the Kent/Duke game....hopefully Q has had time to heal since he's now missed two weeks....there's a reference to his injury at the bottom of this roundup from Akron Beacon Journal...
Kent State 79, IPFW 69 -- Julian Sullinger scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Kent State to a 79-69 victory over host IPFW on Saturday in Fort Wayne, Ind. Armon Gates led the Golden Flashes (5-3) with 17 points, Mike McKee had 15 and Mike Scott added 13 points and nine rebounds.
Justin Hawkins led the Mastodons (3-7) with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting. IPFW trailed at halftime despite shooting 13-of-23 (56 percent) from the floor in the first half. The Mastodons led 31-24 with 4:58 left in the half, but Kent State went on a 15-6 run during the final five minutes of the half to take a 39-37 halftime lead.
The Golden Flashes outshot IPFW 46 percent to 39 percent in the second half and built their lead to as many as 11 points with 3:14 remaining. Kent State outrebounded IPFW 35-31 and converted 19 Mastodon turnovers into 23 points. The Golden Flashes made 15-of-18 free throws in the second half.
Kent State played without 6-foot-7 junior forward Haminn Quaintance, who missed the game with a strained groin. Quaintance is the Flashes' third-leading scorer and leading rebounder.

Can beat them .... !!!
Crazier things have happened for sure ...
They need to force some turnovers and hit some threes to stay in the game with DUKIE ..
