Sorry I missed posting this weekend. Here's my MNF pick. 2-0 last couple weeks looking to keep the trend goin...
1 Unit - Philly ML (+145)
2 Units each
Philly +3
Under 38
5 Unit Teaser
Philly +10
Under 45
Lots of reasons to be on Philly and the Under in this game. Garcia hasn't really dissappointed yet. He's got a playoff resume that is quite respectable, and plays well with a team who has a shot. With Westbrook pumped to get the ball, and Deshaun coming back I'm looking for both teams to run up the clock. Everybody keeps talking about the Panthers defense, but alot of people are forgetting that the Eagles shut down QB's at home. Looking more and more like Jake the Snake, Delhomme might still be the QB, but he'll most likely take a week off tossing. Alot the points that have been put up in this series historically has come off turnovers, which I don't think will be prevalent this week. While Deshaun may be back against a struggling rush attack, he's still hampered and I think is goin to split carries. With 75% of the public on the Panthers and line not budging, it's clear who the books want everybody to hop on. Seems the casual sports fan is convinced that without DMac the Eagles are nothing, but Westbook seems more than happy to take on the extra load as seen by his increase in carries since Donovan's departure, and still showing a solid YPC. While Carolina will most likely post some early points, I think Philly could pull this one off in the end. But seeing as I'm looking for a low scoring affair, I'll take the points with them at home. The first time the home team has been a dog in this series in the past 5 meetings.
Predicted Score: Philly 19, Carolina 17.
