Wings cashed for me last night to the tune of 3 units....love that....nice big Saturday card tonight, and I'm on 4 so far....taking 2 home favs large, and 2 road dogs small...
Lightning +185 (OT incl) vs Senators 1 Unit
I almost choked when I saw this line....way to high. Yeah, Ottawa has turned it around lately, but they are still on the road, missing their best defenceman (Redden), and facing a team coming off two losses and looking for a big win. Like the lightning in this spot, they had turned things around winning 3 straight, until these past two losses, and should be ready to play tonight at home.
Bruins +168 (OT incl) vs Canes 1 Unit
Another line way to high. Boston is one of the hottest teams in the league, winning 3 in a row, and 8 of 10, and you'll give me a +170? OK. Thomas has played insane in net, Chara is a monster, and the kids are scoring up front. Boston will be looking for some revenge after getting blown out last week by Carolina, and I think they return the favour tonight on Tobacco road. Carolina coming off a win over Montreal, but had only won 1 of 4 before that, and had been a very up and down team...after getting a season high 48 shots against the habs last game, I see a letdown tonight.
Stars -105 -0.5 goals (reg) vs Wild 6 Units POY
Liking this spot for Dallas in this matchup of struggling teams. Lots of great stuff on this one that make Dallas the big play...Dallas has lost 3 in a row, which never happens with that team, and I can't see it going to 4, Dallas is back at home where they are 8-2 and have won 3 in a row, The Wild are on back to back games tonight, losing last night for their 3rd loss in a row, and 4th in 5 games. I won cash off their loss last night, and I'm looking for more. After their hot start (mostly at home...what an easy starting schedule they had!), they have been hit by injuries, and have struggled badly (mostly on the road). Great fucking spot here. Looks like Gaborik is still out, top 4 defenceman Foster is out, and Demitra is still seeing stars from a concussion. Absolutely love the texans at home on a rare, rare losing streak. This is my biggest play of the year.
Predators -160 -0.5 goals (reg) vs Wild 5 Units
Love the Preds as well, so I'll hammer them large. Chicago has won 2 straight since bringing in former star Savard to coach, but I think it's a little much to ask to see them win 3 straight, especcially a road game in Nashville, on a back to back, against a hot top 3 team. The Preds have been filling the net, and have not had a dropoff at all with Mason in for Vokoun. Also some revenge for the Preds as Chicago gave them two bad losses early in the year....but that was when the Hawks were healthy.....these are two different teams now, with the Preds clicking on all cylinders, and the Hawks still missing Havlat and Handzus. I also like FF's theory on Khabibulin playing b2b so soon after coming back injury.

Also thinking about 1 more home fav (EDM) and a home dog (Philly), but I'm deciding whether to eat that much juice with a struggling Oiler squad missing Hemsky (ANG??) and I knew Philly had some defence injuries, but I see Pitkanen is now questionable as well...so I'm waiting on that. With so much cash already down, I might just leave them both off unless someone can convince me to tail.
