Time to get back to it.....hope everyone has been doing well (at least better than the Flyers)....i haven't looked at an NHL Odds board in about a month and man are they juicing the favorites and something good.....

NAS -1....3 Units..................Mason has played well this season and played a great 3rd period to secure a win over St. Louis a couple nights ago. Both teams playing 3I4, but NAS had the night off Friday and they bring a 4 game win streak in here. This is a sandwich home game for NAS before they begin a big road trip out west which will see them take on Anaheim and San Jose...so i would expect a focused effort here from the Preds. They seem to be really clicking as a team scoring 20 goals in their L4 games, and they have revenge from an earlier 3-1 defeat to the hawks. I think the day off for NAS makes a big difference and Happybowling will be playing BB games on consecutive days for the first time since coming back from injury. Look for some fatigue from him, IMO, as Savard has said he will start virtually every game from here on out....

LAK +1....................not usually a "value" player, but i think this line is really inflated with a ML of +190 and the LAK have a shot at winning this one. They have been very good defensively at home recently allowing 6 goals in their L3 home games. Both games this season have been 1 goal games won by the ANA, one of them coming via OT. This is a really heated rivalry usually filled with lots of penalty minutes. These teams meet again Sunday at the Pond and knowing that, i would expect a very good effort from the LAK at home tomorrow. LAK have lost 6 in a row to ANA and the ANA have won 4 straight overall. Trends all end on Saturday, IMO. ANA is great, but they aren't going to win every night. LAK have won 4 of L5 at home and in their L6 home games, they haven't lost by more than 1 goal.

might add some others tomorrow, but still working my way back into the season. Been following it from a Fantasy standpoint, but not so much a capping one......made one play on the NHL when i was in vegas a couple weeks back....couldn't resist....and it was on.........................the Flyers...........lmao...and they.........................lost...of course....

looking forward to getting back interacting with the group...

GL to everyone!

JML- THX!.....i think the X factor in the NAS game is HappyBowlling playing BB games for the first time (if he plays which he should) going up against an offense that is just on fire right now. Just like any other part of the game, you have to be in shape for it to be effective and i think he will be less than razor sharp tomorrow. GL on the Flyers. They have a ton of blue line injuries and Forspussy managed 0 SOG and went 3/15 in the face off circle last game...he's still not right. NJD are in PHI head, IMO, so i won't play it. Glad everyone has been doing well....

Good luck FF!! I like your reasoning behing those picks, I think their solid. I think you have spotted really good value in these games. Nashville look like a team that is just focused and the coaching staff from the comments that I have listened to, they seem to have a balance approach to playing the games. As for LA, I hope Garon is starting tommorrow because cloutier has been plain awful, and I mean just awful, the guy has been horrendous. Last game he let in 3 goals on 5 shots, he's having games like that all this season. The problem for LA is not scoring goals but rather on the defensive side and goaltending have been poor so far this season. But even with that its worth a shot, especially with Crawford team, you just know he is going to have his team motivated tommorow. They need to start winning.

9 favorites with a -150 or more moneyline...talk about a juicy saturday...

7 games where the total is 5.5 or less...players are adjusting, teams are adjusting and now the books are adjusting...

My leans right now are Detroit, Philadelphia and NYI...

GL FF!
