2-1 last night for +1 unit. I'll take it. Interesting card tonight...actually taking 3 road dogs tonight, usually a recipe for disaster, but I really think all 3 have a great chance of winning tonight...
Canadiens +110 at Canes 2 units
Backing the hottest goalie in the league....HUET. The guy has been on a tear (6-0-0 with a 1.39 GA in last 6), and the Habs having been playing some solid hockey under coach Carboneau, winning 4 of 5 including beating Buffalo! Carolina not playing well losing 3 of 4, and have had issues in net. I'll take the Habs as a dog.
Flyers +154 at Islanders 2 units
NYI had been playing some nice hockey under coach Nolan, but lost captain Yashin, their leading scorer and first line centre, and abruptly lost to PIT. I think they continue to slide, as the lines have been forced to be shuffled around to accomodate the loss. Flyers have actually turned things around lately having won 2 in a row before a hard fought, late-goal 3-2 loss to powerful Nashville last night. I'll take that as a positive and say they've played 3 good games in a row. I usually don't play teams on back to back, but I see some value in this big dog line.
Kings +125 at Coyotes 2 units
See some value here as well, fading the desert dogs. LA has more firepower, and is playing well, coming off 2 straight wins against quality opponents (Calgary/New Jersey). LA should come out on top tonight, and I'll take my chance anytme Phoenix is this much of a favourite against anybody.
GL tonight...Might add the Leafs, but I'll be watching for sure....we own Atlanta, and there were two pretty good brawls last year against those cheapshot artists.
