I really don't think Chicago stands a chance here. There has been lots of rumors of Havlat coming back for this one, which people believe would help turn the team around. Everywhere I look, I see sites claiming a possible return.

But as of yesterday according to the Chicago Tribune:

Havlat (sprained ankle) appears to still be a week away to returning which would make it the first week of December for skating in a game.

"It was originally thought that he would be back for the November 29th contest against the Stars, but it is more realistic that his return would either be December 5 at Minnesota or December 7 at home against Phoenix." (Yahoo, Source: Chicago Tribune)

Of course I would still make this bet even WITH Havlat in, but it just adds to the firs.

Ducks are a good team, who don't lose twice in a row. It's happened once this season, and their sure hell not going to let it happen to them with the Blackhawks.


The Hawks are really in a ditch. They have 3 wins over their past 15 games. Dallas should pull out the W in this situation.

No, definitely not on The Wild tonight. Have a real bad feeling about that game. Im getting a bad vibe form the players around here, as they seem extremely unmotivated. They usually put up a pretty good effort here at the Xcel, but I think theres a good chance of SJ taking this one.

I agree with Hero on the Wild. While they have been solid at home at the X, they are not playing well right now and dealing with injuries and a headcase. Both Gaborik and Demetra are out for tonight's game and who's starting in goal is a ?. Fernandez is an excellent net minder, very athletic.....however the worry with him has always been his head. When he is on and confident, there is no one better. He is struggling right now and his confidence is shot. These two always play tough, but leaning towards the Sharkies in this one.

I actaully like the Wild over SJ just because of skillset and how SJ has been playing.. Sure they have 2 2-0 back to back wins, but yesterday should have been 1-0 and they haven't been all that strong offensively.

But Dallas totally choked. I cannot believe it. Something inside of me wanted no part of this game, but I still felt it was the best play out there.

Oh well, minus a few units tonight. Get em' back tomorrow.
