I don't know if I quite get this one..

Sens being +120 on my books but IMO Sens are the better overall team esp as of recent.

Sens are 4-1 in their last 5 dropping their last game against TB where are Canes are 3-2 in their last 5 dropping 2 against Islanders and Rangers (not very impressive)..

Sens offense as of late has showed up but on the other hand Canes Defense has showed up..

Their last meeting was a great 3-2 battle earlier this month with Canes on top (and this at a time when canes were hot).

Senators are 6-1-2 in the last 9 meetings in Carolina
Hurricanes are 1-4 in their last 5 games as a favorite
Hurricanes are 1-6 in their last 7 Tuesday games

What gives? Seems like the right thing is Sens pick?

personally I would stay away from this game as it could go either way. Carolina is 6-4 last ten games but the 4 loses came in the NY/NJ states where they haven't won this year. Both teams beat average teams as off late except for the Sens two wins vs the Sabers, that was impressive, the game being played in Carolina makes it a tough call. You could take a shot on the Sens as dog but I wouldn't go heavy on the game.

staying away from the game as well but will look at it to see if i see value

as for the 'canes losses to the isles and rangers not impressive??? they are both tied for first play rangers have one of the hottest PP's and Isles have one of the hottest goalies'.

I was just pointing out that the Canes loses came to good teams at home, BUFF,NYI,NYR,NJ and that they won the other six elsewhere or at home. The reference was that he shouldn't take the Canes lightly, because of the 6-4 record last 10 games.

Yeah i've cashed on Canes a few times and enjoyed riding them but recently they (in GSP voice) am un-impressed with your performance. (har har good UFC reference).

Sens are good, and I think they've been playing great FUNDAMENTAL hockey and think it's going to be a good game and well I saw value in the doggie..

Yup just saw that.. LOL

Might have to put more money in to go against the Duckers here tonight too.

Edit: was favoring Sens for a while though.. But then again if line changes were evrything we would all be RICH

From the NHL.com scoresheet looks like Sens are ALL over Canes early (after the early canes goal)..

Out shooting 14 - 7
