I have a 10 team parlay and so far I have won first 9 on the board and just need Jacksonvile -4 to cash in 2500 dollars. Should I hedge or not. I am not sure because Jacksonville seems to be a solid pick. I really like them. What do you guys think I should do.

How much do you have up to win 2500?
Depending on what you've got in, I'd suggest hedging to win at least $500, this way you are +500, or +2000something.
My 2 cents.
Nice work on the parlay so far though

I only had 10 dollars on the parlay.

so you've got about $5 into the play...if you're going to hedge, buy a few points and try to middle it. regardless, because you actually only have single digits in it right now..i would hedge $1000 if I were in your shoes. Nice job to this point'

With that I'd definately hedge to be assured a decent size winner.
But that's me. You've got over a day to decide. Wait and see what other say.

Always take the free money.....if you are really confident about the Jags, you could put 500 on the other side, picking up a good chunk regardless. Always make sure you get a good profit either way:thumbs:

I think Jacksonville is the play tomorrow night, but I'd hedge anyway.
You basically have JAX -4 for 10/2500?
I'd lay $500 on the Giants, if not a grand.
Guarantee a nice profit.
Would be a suck ass bummer if you get 9 right and still lose.

You sould hedge forsure. Can you get the Giants +5 for maybe say (-115) or something? That way you can still win the Parlay and you can push the other wager. If it were me....
I would bet
Giants +5 (-115) and Lay half the money you stand to win. you would get close to an $1,100 payout. Not bad for a $10 bet.
It's all up to you, but to be able to sit back and watch the game and know you could not lose would be pretty sweet.
Only one other factor to consider. Games dont very often have a 5 point margin of victory, so saying that you should understand that you are giving up the right to win the 2,500.
If you happen to get lucky then so be it, but there is only a very small percentage chance that you will be able to push and win. Basically it aint gonna happen.
But... You will be a forsure winner of 1100 or 1250.
Good Luck to you.

Thanks and appreciate everybody here for your opinions. I think I will hedge here, but I will wait to see if the line goes up to + 4.5 or +5 and risk to win 1000 dollars. That's the smart thing to do. Winning 1300 dollars on a 10 dollar bet is a sweat pay out. First time it ever happened to me.

I'd place $1250 on NYG. This is the safest play you could do and come up with $1250.

yeah, hedge, hedge....
I'd go with Stif or play 500/500 game/2nd hf.
Maybe wait and hope go get NYG +3, you'll tie this bet if Jax wins by 3.
