Selection: San Jose State +25.5 (-110)
Today San Jose State will be on the road as they take on Hawaii.
The betting public is pouring in money on Hawaii, but it could be a trap. Hawaii has been very impressive the past three weeks (scoring at least 61 points in each of their last three games), however, they are getting way to much credit. The fact of the matter is they beat three very poor teams (Louisiana Tech, Utah State, and Idaho). Now they face a strong San Jose State team that is trying to solidify their bowl chances. Some don't think that San Jose State is a solid team, however, they are much better then people think. San Jose State almost pulled a huge upset last week against BYU (leading by eight in the fourth quarter before BYU came back and won by three). Not only should San Jose State keep this game within reach, but Hawaii Head Coach (June Jones) is not going to want to blowout San Jose State. You must understand that Hawaii Head Coach (June Jones) is very good friends with San Jose State Head Coach (Dick Tomey). Both these Coaches go way back [Hawaii Head Coach (June Jones) was the reason for San Jose State's Head Coach (Dick Tomey) first Coaching job]. These teams are also known for not blowing-out each other. In fact, the last four meetings between these two teams have been decided by 18 points or less. In addition, three of the last four games in this series have been decided by single digits.
