Why does ESPN suck? Without ESPN we wouldn't see 1/10th of the games were are able to watch week in and week out.

All they do is talk talk talk, I can't stand it. They run out of things to talk about days before the games start. They have had a countdown for the michigan/ohio state game since thursday, what a joke. Give me highlights, and games not all this nonsense. The first thing i used to do when i turned on the tv was go to espn, now its to hbo or another movie channel. Its a joke corso picks one side, the other guy will pick the other side and each give bullshit reasons for doing so. If they want to talk about something, talk about whos gonna cover because thats all people care about.

without a doubt the worst mnf crew, couldnt stand the announcers in the michigan game either praising the refs for their great calls, enough ranting, i'll just turn the volume down

I'm also starting to be annoyed by ESPN, but Troy Smith won the trophy tonight....no doubts...and he deserves it over McFadden. Being No. 1 from the start of the season and to perform like that....wow. Troy Smith is beyond a legend at OSU. He is 3-0 against Michigan...as an OSU fan, it will go down as Woody, Troy, Archie, Hop Along...etc.
McFadden is nice......but Troy rules the world in college foots right now....deservedly so.

Yeah I think you're right, Troy Smith even with the couple turnovers proved the trophy is his. He deserves it, seems like a really good kid too gotta feel good for him.

I don't watch ESPN anymore either unless there's a game on. It's silly to listen to these jackasses that think they know everything babbling on and on about the same thing all week.
Lee Corso and that other weasel (forget his name) are completely clueless when they're picking winners for games. All they say is what the viewers want to hear. I have a hard time believing someone who coached CFB and someone who played QB collegeiately are as naive as those two, so I can only assume they are told what to talk about by the higher ups...which makes it even worse than if they were just stupid.
Pardon the Interruption is awful. That show was interesting for about the first 3 times I saw it. Now it's just repetitive and stupid with Tony Cornhole and the other dude arguing with each other like they can't stand each other, then they probably go out and grab a few drinks after they're done. What is this pro wrestling?
And that show where they put people on mute and eliminate them is 10X worse. I'd rather watch corn grow than listen to Woody whatever his name is. That guy is dumber than everyone else on ESPN combined.
I'd rather stick a pitchfork in my eye than listen to what those any of morons have to say. Every time i do accidentally leave it on and hear what those dipshits are saying, I feel 10 IQ points stupider for doing so. The only thing worse is MTV.

I can't believe that line is a pick em. Arkansas should be a TD fave in that game IMHO.

Stif i couldnt agree more, hate every show on there. What they should do is make a reality tv show of a couple people from this forum who drop everything and move to vegas to be professional handicappers for a football season, get a young kid, a veteran, and a loser, any suggestions on the three? haha, and of course espn foots the bill
You really think arkansas should be a td favorite? Why? Will McFadden be effective against the lsu D? The Arkansas qb isnt anything to be excited about, maybe the under, although lsu games have been going over it seems.

Woody Paige and Skip Bayless should be tarred and feathered, then their mouths should be taped closed FOREVER.
Two complete IDIOTS. That's really the only show, along with anything involving Stephen Gay Smith, I completely despise on ESPN. I can stomach most of the other stuff even if it is not always to my liking. I understand they need the pom-pom guys like Corso and Vitale and the village idiots like Kruk and Salisbury to make the shows have some life. It's funny they fired one of the only people that works for them that actually was GOOD at his job, Harold Reynolds.
I also CAN NOT fucking stand how they let these former coaches and players pump up their former teams to the point of utter NAUSEA. I get ill every time Lou Holtz opens his densure clad mouth and somehow spits Notre Dame into a conversation about Clemson and Duke. For 2 years, he hasn't picked once against either Notre Dame or South Carolina. There's no credibility whatsoever to anything he says. Last night, on NCAA Hoops Pardo (former Illinois player) picked Bruce Weber (current Illinois coach) as the best manager of talent in the NCAA, and Bill Self (former Illinois coach) as the best recruiter. Does he know of any coaches who havent coached at Illinois? Tino Martinez picked the Yankees to win EVERY SINGLE freaking game this year, and said they were the best at EVERY FREAKING category come playoff time.
It's ridiculous.... I don't understand how program directors don't get as ill as I do watching some of this stuff???
