Ive been trying to limit my CBB plays until the schedules get through these early season tournaments so Ive only played 3 games so far and have a 2-1 record to show for it. I played just my 3rd game last night and hit the Georgetown game easy and was confused by the +1 line the entire day.
Tonight I found a game Im going to make a small play on....
WEBER ST -1 1/2 over Alaska-Fairbanks

This Alaska-Fairbanks team is very young... 7 players who didnt play last year and just 6 that did...Weber St is the best team on their schedule for the entire season... Weber St had a down year last season, which may be making the line low, and then they bulked up their roster in the offseason with 8 transfers for this year... This is the tip off of the BP Top of the World Classic Tournament in which A-F defeated Weber St the last time they met in 2002, 77-65, which may supply extra motivation for Weber St to take care of business this time... The all-time record is 2-1 in Weber St's favor.
The few things that scare me is that the game is in Alaska, which can be hard on any away team and that this A-F team can score some points if Weber St decides not to play defense...
... Im gonna be bold and predict a 9-12 point win for Weber St.

This line has moved a lot. Started at -1.5 and has moved all the way to +1.5 with only 56% of public on A-F. That seems odd that it would swing 3 pts on just under 60% public.

That 60% just means 60% of the people are on that team, the majority of the money could be on the other. Usually if a high percentage of people are on one side and the line is sliding the other way, it's a good thing if you're on the opposite side of that percentage.

Oh alright thanks man. 60% of the PEOPLE were on Weber St and the line went from -1 to +1.5 so it confused me... in the future ill try and get on the smaller percentage of those kinds of games but for last night I already had the money on Weber St so I was sweating it all night and luckily they won it in OT
