I'm pissed I didn't take Miami (OH). Kentucky still is vastly overrated, damn... I thought they might be better without Rondo always being in the way and Sparks chucking up 3's at will but I guess not.
Also, Winthrop is friggin' good. UNC ain't winning no national title playing ZERO defense like they do.

I do not see as national champs (outside shooting is suspect). However, all these talented teams are damn young, and it is going to take the Heels time to get together.
I still think Florida is head and shoulders over everyone, and vastly more experienced than talented teams like Carolina and Kansas, among others.
But I think the Jayhawks and Heels win around 30 games each this season, once they let things come together.Depth and talent, if not youth, is in their favor.:gulp:

As you prob know, the difference b/tw Florida and the teams you mentioned is that the Gators play defense. They led the SEC in defense last year, and played ferocious D in the tourney aswell.
UNC and KU will lose games they aren't supposed to because they dont play a lick of defense.

Explain how the team that finished #1 in the nation last year in defensive field-goal percentage and returns EVERYBODY doesn't play a lick of defense?

Ed H- You must be a Kansas fan? I didnt' know they finished that high. It could be because the Big 12 teams can't shoot? But obviously they played better defense than I rememeber, my apologies ro the Jayhawks in that regard. I guess I was thinking back a couple years.

they could have used some D last night versus Oral Roberts.
From what I hear, they have fallen victim, not to a Horatio jinx, but to the venerable Sports Illustrated Jinx, which supposedly picks them and puts them on the cover. If true (I have not seen an issue) Sports Illustrated is incredible.:gulp:

Thats alright, I think you were thinking back to the Roy Williams teams which was all offense no defense. It's a little bit different mindset nowadays. It's common for people to lump KU and UNC together in that regard. And yeah I'm a Kansas fan Rock Chalk Jayhawk.
