Davidson -4.5 ...... 1/2 unit play
This has been a solid program over the last two seasons with a combined 43-20 record. Last years NCAA TOURNEY team went 20-11 before bowing out to Ohio St 70-62 in Round One..
This year they feature the son of former NBA Star Dell Curry. Stephen Curry 6'1" guard is not shy.. Has already rifled up 47 3's on the year, hitting 21. As a high school senior in Charlotte, Curry shot 48% from 3 Ball.
This year he is averaging 21.0 points a game. At Michigan (John Thompson Heritage Classic) he poured in 32 and led them in rebounding with 9 against the Wolverines.
UIC should be pretty good this year as they return 4 starters, but i think the timing here also favors Davidson who is returning home from a strong showing in Michigan beating Cent. Connecticut St and Eastern Michigan and giving Michigan all they could handle in a ten point loss. UIC is basically playing their first real game.
