No doubt in my mind that the Nuggets get this cover tonight

1st of all the line is to low.......Sixers are the biggest public play of the night and the line just moved to 2.5 in some places


Adding to the wager.............Denver +3

ill have to defend the original poster, you guys shouldnt jump on him for calling a lock, im sure he's backing his pick by maxing out all his credit cards and putting everything he owns on it; it is afterall a lock = sure win.

if he isnt putting all he owns and is just flapping his gums, then he should sit down and be quiet.



i personally love when people call locks because you can laugh at them when it loses, or laugh at them cuz they didnt put all their money on what they knew was a sure thing

just be careful with calling locks, posting on the forum wont be pleasant otherwise. instead, call your play a POW (play of the week), or in rare cases, GOY (game of the year) .

I have to jump in and make a few corrections here (LOL)

First of all....Kevin, this is NOT the first "fade the public" lock to be posted, even this year. See here:

The Minnesota Vikings +2 was posted as an "10* MNF lock of the year" (before a mod edited it to 10* MNF play of the year). That play was anti public, and it lost. Check out my reply towards the end....I noted that it was be interesting, since we don't see too many "anti-public locks", LOL. I didn't back off Minny, for that very reason (that it was anti-public), and well, I lost...as did the lock (which they always do, lol).

Second, Philly is the THIRD biggest pub play of the night as of right now at least.

77% on the CRAPtors (of all teams for the public to load up on)
75% on the Jailblazers
71% on Philly

I would also like to note that there are 63% on the DENVER ML....so some of those who like Denver are obviously hitting the ML here, more than likely instead of taking the points, since the line is so low and they probably are using the thinking that the points won't come into play. While I still agree that Philly is the public play here, obviously factoring in the ML % on Denver makes the spread % favoring Philly a little less overwhelming than when it stands alone.

That should do it....I think.

I like it even more.....without Martin and 64% of the public on the Sixers......The line just dropped on Pinnacle to 2.5......Line should not be going down.......Nuggets should be very,very tough tonight
