YTD 25-14 +20.8 Units
Florida +115 1 Unit Regulation Only
Auld has been shaky in a couple of his starts since the incident in the hotel with Belfour. That being said he has played well in others and taken L's. After a week off I like for Florida to come out with a lot of jump tonight and get off on the right foot against New York. You don't get a lot of opportunities to take a break and work on some problem areas too many times in a season but Florida had a nice opportunity to do that after posting a W over Toronto. The one area that concerns me is the special teams as New York has really started to come together on both units while Florida has struggled to kill of penalties as of late. If Florida can keep it's penalties down I think they will have success in the 5 on 5.
Edmonton/Detroit Under 5.5 -110 3 Units
What else is there to say. Detroit is 10-2 to the under and I have been riding that pretty good. Detroit has been on fire since the loss to Edmonton ended the road trip losing streak. I expect Detroit to limit the shots and really choke off Edmonton who is on the second of back to backs. Really the only concern for me is the fact that Hasek hasn't saved a real high percentage and throughout his career he has always excelled as a high volume save guy so he has to adjust now. I don't know who will be in net for the Oil but it doesn't affect this play for me.
