Pondering bets:

Detroit ML -200

Detroit coming off several day rest w/ Oilers playing a hard night B2B. I like the oilers though and don't want to count them out (I had them yesterday). So I may not put on this game.

Last night record:

NHL 3-2

NHL 2006 / 2007 Season
29 - 24 -2 +$63.49

Last years stats mean nothing to me. That was a 1st place team vs a 10th place team. It's reverse this year.

I like Detroit as well...but -200 is severe.
Also like the under in that one...

Yaeh last year stats don't mean much when a team has changed as much as the Sens have. But just pulling trends :o)

As for the Detroit Under, I am not sure if I like that. Really depends on how tired the Oilers really are. I don't think Oilers will bring their sticks but I can easily see detroit pulling a 5-2 game.. just "slowly" crashing the net.

But like you said -200 is way too Severe. Oilers on the other hand are hurting in a big way and coming off B2B games against a well rested team may be too much for them.

Waiting to see who Edmonton is starting, if they are resting Roloson, I might jump on the Det -0.5.
