View Full Version : Anyone Seen The Movie Borat?

I saw it last night. Its certainly not for everyone, but I think its the closest I've ever come to peeing my pants, while sober, at a movie theater. The guy is a genius when it comes to satirizing stereotypes in America. If you can laugh at America and its stereotypes, then you'll appreciate this movie. If you offend easily, you'll hate it. The guy doesn't discriminate in making fun of any stereotype...rude New Yorkers, angry feminists, homophobes, homosexuals, rednecks, stupid drunk college guys, uptight socialites, hard core Christians, Jewish folks, etc.
There are a couple of scenes in Borat that are so unbelievable that you have to see them to believe it.
Its one of those movies that people will either love or hate. Just wondering if anyone else here has seen it and what they thought.

The great thing about the Borat movie is that he makes fun of all the American stereotypes. And that accent is dead on!

Yeah......that was kind of the point I was trying to make in my original post...thanks for clearing things up for everyone....LOL. Just kiddin' with ya, man. Feelin' a little frisky on Friday evening...the farthest possible time from Monday morning.
But, yes....he sure does make fun of all American stereotypes. When he is talking to those angry feminists about how a woman's brain is smaller than a man's....those women were so friggin' pissed at him...then he says, "relax pussycat...smile." Classic stuff....its right up there with Spinal Tap in that it will go down as a cult classic mockumentary.
