Louisville (-6) vs Rutgers

I think Rutgers is going to slow Louisville down for awhile, but the dual ground/air attack of Louisville will wear them down and keep them guessing.

I don't usually play halfs (unless the line is completely....well, out of line). Someone has already noted in another thread (sorry, I don't recall off-hand whose) that Louisville doesn't play as well away from home. I agree.

I checked the halfs for their four prior away games. Louisville covered two of those; Temple and Kansas State; but not the other two; Middle Tenn and Syracuse. This doesn't present much of trend.

I don't feel the half line is too off. If I had to choose.....Louisville (-4), but I just flipped my "heads I win, tails you lose" coin to come up with this.

Saturday:

La. Tech vs Hawaii (-38)

Hawaii with 3 60+pt games and an aerial attack that is insane. Now they are playing at home against one of the worst pass defenses in the country. But wait, there's more.....La Tech put a woodshed beating down on Hawaii last year....I wonder if Hawaii has forgotten about that? It's possible that we might see a low NBA score on this one (at least on Hawaii's side of the board).
