Fading the Spurs on the 2nd half of back to backs again. It worked the first time they played back to backs this season (won @ Dallas, then came home vs Cleveland....and they lost to Cleveland SU as a -5.5 fave), so I'm sticking with it until they show me they're gonna be able to compete on back to back nights/days and cover the number at better than 50%.
Last year they were downright awful in this situation, as most of their SU losses came on the 2nd game of back to backs. They rarely covered the number, even when they did win the game.
I don't think the Knicks are any good, but sometimes you have to back bad teams to get potential line value in your favor when the situation calls for it.
The only thing that concerns me a bit is that the Spurs actually played an afternoon game yesterday instead of a night one, so I don't know if that makes the situation any different or less effective....but I'm still giving it a try here.
