Thanks Shorts GL this week. they do not play with any heart. Trotter is done and teams can just run the ball at will. I feel the offense will get back in shape, but the defense has been bad all year and even last year. I dont think it will get any better for the defense.:bang:

from everything im reading on rivals.com today, EVERYONE is talking about how UAB is going to step it up tonight...

there's even talk that they're going to try to pick up a shut out...

during the loss to marshall, they gave up HUGE plays for TD's...

the lowest scoring touch down play was 26... the highest, 67...

i think that if the defense can settle down and stop the big plays, they have a chance to cover and an even better chance to win...

Looking at both team Schedules they pretty much have played the same type of teams except for Louisville playing Miami. I know that Miami is not what they have been in past years, but at the time it was a huge game for Louisville and got the players ready to play in big games. West Virginia has not had any big games yet this year and on the defensive side of the ball have some young players that the pressure may get to them with this a road game.

Looking at these numbers the only thing that stands out is that West Virginia's offense needs to run the ball to move it. Louisville on the other hand can run and pass the ball to move it. Both of the Defenses look good, but I think Louisville will have an easier time try to stop a one dimensional Offense. Also Louisville has able to put up 389yards of offense and 31 points on a pretty good Miami defense. I also feel after last years loss to West Virginia Louisville is going to want this game more and also it is a home game for Louisville the crowd should be great. I look for it to be a tight game early, but penalties and turnovers on West Virginia will allow Louisville to pull away. I have Louisville 31-14
