Thank god for NCAAF every weeknight this week after Monday. Got pounded yesterday after negligently taking Minny yesterday, so needa hit this one good. Unfortunately I don't know much about either team, and the public isn't pounding either side.
Anyone else have opinions on this? I'm gonna play each game one at a time until Thursday, I think I'm taking Louisville.
As of right now, I like the under on the SMU game. UAB hasn't had any offense all season, and it's harder to get em on the road. I'm sensing one team in the 20's and 1 team in single digits to 10's.

I hadn't seen anything on this top of the line game so I just figured everybody forgot. I actuall like SMU and the over. More liking the over since I don't really think either defense can stop the other offense. Still looking at it though.
Edited due to my dumbass fingers!

I'm really liking SMU on the moneyline and the over as a parlay right now. Any thoughts?

How many SMU/UAB "thoughts" threads are people going to post today?
Ease up with the clutter guys. Browse the forum first to see if somone already started a similar thread (which they have). It's Tuesday, so it's not like there's 150 threads to read. I know everyone is trying to get ideas and talk about the game and get winners, but it's getting annoying seeing the same thread in 3 places. Also, writing that you like SMU and whatever in a parlay is not helpful to anyone either. If you're going to create a semi-useless (And repetitive) thread, can you at least offer some iota of analysis and not just the side(s) you like and slap a "what do you think?" on the end of it???
This is all IMHO of course.....

Styles - I'm not either, and it has nothing to do with you particularly, it's just getting a little out of hand with all these guys posting the same "What do you think?" thread. That's not the intention of this forum. The idea is to SHARE information not post a play and ask what the rest of us think.
Anyway, just wanted to say that and it happened to be in your thread so dont take it personal please. BOL with the plays tonite too!

Cuse makes a solid point. I'm merging this thread with the other "thoughts" or "opinions" thread.
When you're ready to make a pick, by all means open a thread with your pick.

??/ I took SMU -2.5 for this first half. UAB sucks but SMU is not great by any means but mostly because I dont want to watch an enitre game of two crap teams.
GL to all

for all you SMU backers out there listen to this
the leading kick returner in the country, jessie henderson, is out for tonights game. this kid averages 40 yards a kick return and may be the reason that the young qb for smu has played so well, with an averaging starting drive of their own 35....just someting to think about

Thanks larry! I wasnt trying to offend anyone, I just dont think it's necessarry to have more than 1 thread on the game asking for people's "thoughts and opinions". The merge is great, and for the record I like the "thoughts and opinions" thread (especially on weeknights when there's only one game). Go Go tossed in some great info there that I'm sure a bunch of people had no clue about, good stuff!
GL tonite everybody!
according to sb.com (you know which one im talking about), the line for the total THIS MORNING was at 66% on the OVER of 49.5 for 2nite...
the public is currently 74% on the OVER
the line for the side THIS MORNING was SMU -4.5 with 81% of the public being on them...
the public is currently 85% siding with SMU

I was under the impression that Henderson is likely to play, but I could be wrong. I don't know if that will make a big difference or not but it's definitely worth noting.
