OK, now this is starting to blow. Faves winning every game tonight....and nothing like losing one with 2 secs left in regulation.

Time for a break....this is starting to remind me of baseball :puke:

You did get burned by the Bruins but with Toronto and New York I think you would have been lucky to get one of those. Of course it's all hindsight now but they were both in tough tonight.

You're having a great season so far. Don't get so easily discouraged.

Sorry if that sounded condescending.

New York had plenty of chances early to take control and Miller was outstanding in goal. The Sabres were sleep walking till a 5-3 PP goal woke them up and then a breakaway gave them a two goal lead and the ability to coast to the W. New York should have atleast played it closer.

Oh yea...I know the NYI and Toronto never had a shot at the time I made that post. I wasn't at all saying I got screwed with those games in any way, or even the Boston one for that matter.

I mean even if NYI had their chances and Buffalo was sleepwalking thru the early game like was said (think that Buffalo may be a little "relaxed", while the Isles might be more "motivated" was actually a bit of why I made that play), still, the NYI didn't even score a goal, and I'm not dumb enough to believe I should have won a bet if my team fails to even score, lol....even if they technically didn't need to because they were getting the +0.5.

I did think it sucked losing the Boston play with about 2 secs left, and the Habs on the PP though. I wasn't watching the game on TV, so I could only assume it was a legit penalty, but it's still a sucky way to lose though, since OT would have at least gotten me a push, and when that happened, that's what prompted me to make that post.

I do get discouraged easily with hockey cause I don't see the games to know what's going on, and I don't have an understanding of the game like i do for the other sports that I play. It's not actually the game of hockey itself that discourages me, but that I don't want to give back the money I've made already to this point, and I'm afraid that's what is starting to happen.

Anyway, NBA starts next week, then CBB, and NFL and CFB are still going strong, and with all of that, I won't have as much time to do hockey anyway. I'll probably still play some, but not nearly as many. That's probably best for me anyway, as I seem to be able to spot the really bad lines and the easy winners a few times a week far better than I can pick out a few winners a night like I normally try to do with the other sports that I know more about.

I think maybe I've been playing too many games, and that's probably why I haven't been having as much success.

Yea well....time to look over tonight's cards and see if there's anything I like.

Hope everyone had a better night than I did last night. At least I hit Phoenix and the CFB game to make up a little for that 0-3 start, lol
