What formula do people use to track their bets / winnings

So, what formula's do you use to keep track of the units won / winnings / losses etc.


Do you use Excel? OpenOffice? What method?

I want to start keeping track :o)

I guess this is probably too high tech but I have found a system that I have acutally been using for years now...................it's called pen and paper.

Doh!.. I bet your adding and subtracting is pretty good..

I just get out the calculator after each night of plays and add/subtract as necessary and put them in my sig so I can't lose them. I confuse myself at times but I know I would lose it if I was just writing it down.

I use excel...it's fairly easy. Here's my basic columns.

Game- Fill in the game and spread
Bet Amount- Amount wagered
Units Wagered- Bet amount/unit
Amount Won- Bet amount + amount to win
Units Won- Amount won/unit
Net Result- Amount won-bet amount
Net units- Net result/unit
OVERALL- sum of all columns
Overall units- OVERALL/unit

Also have coumns that add wins and losses.

A good old college ruled notebook and a ball point pen from Wal Mart work for me.

My computer is actually equipped with a program called "calculator" too (who woulda thought, lol), so I can just add em up right here if there's too many plays to do all the math in my head.

Seriously though, I can't imagine too many people using some kind of computer program to keep their record.

Actually I don't I just started keeping tracks of my bets..

Here is what I have:

3 Colum Span for the sport
First colum description
Second wager
Third W/L/P amount

At the bottoms I have total of each sport I have the $$ won/loss and another section I have total win/loss and waged of all sports combined.


Sheesh.. just trying to see what people keep track of, so I know if I could better track my bets..
