Last night: 2-1
YTD: 17-14 +5.19
Another small gain last night but I will take it every single night. 3-0 is sweet but 1-2 or 0-3 is not good so I guess I can handle the 2-1; on to tonight.
Hate to say it but I'm looking at a lot of Visitors tonight from my early looks. The Sharks come into to Country Music City to face the Preds but a few things really jump out at me. #1. Nabokov was in net last night so I'm guessing tonight will be Toskala..........I like that. #2. The Preds have gone 4-0-1 in last five with their Menu as, Yotes, LGI, Rangers and Devils with their OT Loss at the hands of Canucks. Yes the wins are wins but I'm thinking it was not like they were beating Dallas or Anaheim or similar. Just not sold on the team from Nashville just yet. Especially after their shaky start. San Jose is in B/B but at this time of the season I really don't see it is that big of a deal, until it gets later in the season. Just think with the loss last night in Motown, the Sharks will rebound nicely so my play here is................Sharks ML -105
I know, I've read all about the new coach angle but this years model of the Flyers is just not very agreeable with the new, faster, leaner NHL. Yes they may get some bump in emotion but that will not take them to the promise land, IMO. I have a funny feeling that with the Sabres on the horizon on Saturday night, Hartley might give Lehtonen a break tonight and have him a bit more rested for the Buffalo game and put Hedburg in net tonight. That's not been confirmed anywhere whatsoever but I'm just thinking along with Hartley and seeing into the future a bit. Lehtonen can't play 'em all so we'll see. Anyway, I say all of that to say that I think we'll see the lamp come on again tonight and so I'll leave the side to some better cappers and just go with ..................Over 6 1/2 +105
I just can't understand the Oiler/Yotes line but something doesn't seem right. Oilers -130?........seems fishy to me. Need more info before I go with them tonight. On paper this looks no brainer but the line is scaring me. Any thoughts from someone closer to the Oilcan would be helpful.

The Oilers line may be bad right now because it's unclear who will start in goal. I doubt that it will be Roloson though so watch out.

Markkanen will probably start. But so what, don't let that scare you away. He almost won the cup last year and he's certainly not the reason they lost it.

The reason the line is low is because the Oil are on the road in back to back games. Pretty standard. I think I'll be all over it tonight.

Too many crazy maybe's in net tonight. I want to go with the Panthers again but don't know if "The Eagle" will be there again or if it'll be Auld. Belfour has picked things up a notch and just think Jersey is way over priced as note their record ain't exactly top shelf right now. Eddie against Martin would be a classic and at +220................will have to wait and see. Still not sure to go with the Canadiens since I read now that Huet may be there and I'm totally not sure about his play so far, although I think he may be better than Thomas...........decisions, decisions.............
Guess I'll throw caution to the wind and take Makkanen and the Oilcan in the Desert tonight. Phoenix is just going through the motions right now and with rumors swirling that "The Great One" might step aside.............will play....Oilcan -1/2 +116
Good Luck tonight Gentlemen.

You have the same feeling I had. I was waiting to see who was probable for the Habs in goal and was going to hit Montreal if it was Abbeischer. But since it's Huet, I just don't know...

I just can't seem to find a better place than hockeyinformer and they aren't 100% sure............wished there was more information somewhere...........I bet Guido in Vegas knows.............LOL.
If it's Huet, I'm off but if it's A-Man..........then I'm on the Habs in Beantown. Just have to wait to hear something.

YTD: 17-17 +2.14
Guess I'm trying to outthink the obvious here. Going to be gone for the weekend but will try one tonight as I like the Wild at home..................Wild ML -130
Good Luck tonight and this weekend Gentlemen.
Can the Thrashers be the one to end the streak tomorrow night in Buffalo? We'll see. I'm personally ticked at Hartley for putting in Lehtonen in the SO when Hedberg was doing a super job all night. How can someone come in cold a do better job than someone who was doing great all night? ...........Whatever, just venting.
