Need everyone's help. I need one team from each conference that will be slightly better than .500.
So far I am looking at these:
Eastern:
Washington
Milwaukee
Western:
Memphis
Denver
Utah
Anyone have any particular feeling as to who will be slightly better than .500 from each conference (EITHER your own pick or from the above lists)
Thanks

I would definitely take Utah as I see them winning high 40's in games and in the East I'd take Washington as they should be in the low to mid 40's.

Thanks Bookie,
I considered the Lakers, but I figured they are like the Colts in the NFL were the line is overly inflated. I think this system works best without the big names. Just the mere fact that it is the Lakers I feel the line would be shifted at least $0.10. For example if you threw the Jazz jerseys on the lakers and they played Boston it would be Utah -110, but since it is the Lakers it would be -120.
Just my thoughts. I think the lakers fit in the system, but the line won't be as favorable as someteam like the Jazz.
Thanks Cuse....I'm considering the Jazz sstrongly.

I would steer clear of Memphis, Gasol is the anchor of that team & he won't be back until Jan..I would put Washington & Denver as the top 2 candidates...Denver should improve from the 44 wins last year, & are a good team at home. Washington is a pretty solid team....Butler should be a real force this year....I can also see the Jazz winning over .500, but IMo are a bit riskier than the Wizards. GL deciding what color nuts you will have LOL

I agree with Udog here...stay away from Memphis, they could be the worst team in the West

I kinda like New Orleans in your spot too, Horf. I think Utah makes perfect sense except they are always injured (AK47 is already bitching about his back).
In the East, I think Indiana could be a solid play for 42-48 wins too. Lots of talent there with O'Neal, Harrington, Daniels, Granger, and the "gunner" SJax, hahahaha.... Just a couple to take a look at for ya. Orlando is an up and coming team with value too maybe, but I'm not sure they'll be .500 but should be close and I know you need over .500 teams.

Cuse,
Interesting that you mentioned Indiana. I was thinking of them today as well.
Still got a few days to figure it out.
Thanks

Just an FYI......I'm going to have three nuts in the NBA:
Eastern:
Washington
Indiana
Western:
Denver
I really wanted Utah.....but my gut ain't feeling it.....
Washing plays Indiana 3x and Denver 2x and Denver plays Indiana 2x..... So I won't lose that many plays.
In the end I should have 232 plays.

I like denver, they're really flying under the radar this year with no high expectations since losing to the clippers last year. Nene and K-mart healthy and Karl a good coach too.

something tells me the same about the hawks as well... might be crazy, but this a good young team that have some experience know. They played pretty descent towards the end of the year last season as i recall
