I like the fact that Romo can move around more, plus he is better at getting the ball to Owens. A few of his passes tonight didn't look pretty and he had 3 INT's but he kinda just got thrown in there unexpectedly in a game they were losing badly. Romo is my man he gives Dallas a better chance to win.

I can't believe that the score is 12-7 in a game for 1st place in the division and you bench the starter.

Stupid ass move.

Romo looked like shit.

Id stick with Bledsoe. He's a winner with a great arm.

Trade Romo for a good offensive lineman and give Drew some more time to throw it.

This is where Romo's in game unexperience really showed. He made some very poor decisions but there was also slight glimpses of potential. He was able to squeeze the ball in tight places and run out of the pocket if neccessary. I think if Romo just gets more practice to get in sync with the offense he can become a decent starter.

I agree with Horfin...kinda surprised that Parcells pulled the trigger in such a tight game. I know Drew struggles with a rush in his face, but if that OL (& his RB's especially...see the Harrington safety)could protect him better, this guy can still make every throw in the book.
But, that being said, they apparently can't. And that combined with his severely limited mobility, is a bad combination. And once Parcells did pull the trigger, I don't think he can go back to Bledsoe now.
Being a Cowboys fan, I feel we really let one slip away last night....and it may come back to haunt us later this season.

I think that the fans and media were dying to get romo into the game and after the interception late in the first half i think parcells decided to go with romo. And after watchin romo's first pass im sure parcells wish he never made the move. In that close of a game and especially a divisional game for first place i would leave the veteran in take my chances. It will be interesting to see who parcells puts out to start the next game... i think he has to stay with romo and that could be very interesting in dallas

He defintely has to stay with Romo now. He has no choice but to do that. This thing has been in the works for some time, it didn't just happens on Monday. You can't pull bledsoe out and put him back in next week, you are defintely sending the wrong message to the team and the players. If bledsoe is making too many mistakes and costing you games then you have to look toward the future and that is Romo

Obviously you guys who say stick with Bledsoe are not followers of the Buffalo Bills.

I'm tellin ya (for the 1000th time, LOL), he SUCKS. He should RETIRE effective immediately.

I don't even dislike the guy....I just have seen him suck for way too long to believe he's ever going to be good again.

It's far more than him being immobile, and these types of plays he's screwing up are nothing new. He makes bad decisions under pressure, and even when not pressured, he makes some really bad throws.

That INT at the end of the 1H Monday night. I don't even think he was pressured, and he missed that receiver by a few yards. And did ya see some of the passes he threw in the face of the rush? Not the times when LB's and DE's came at him untouched, I'm talking about the times he stands in the pocket for like 10+ seconds looking around like a dumbass UNTIL they get to him....then forces something to try and avoid the sack.

Fact is that he does not know how to throw the ball away and live to play another down. He ALWAYS takes the sack or throws into coverage.

He may have a good arm, but that's about it. I'd put him in the same category as a guy like Jeff George, or Rob Johnson (remember that dumbass....another Bills screw up). He's almost a mirror image of Rob Johnson actually....another guy who never threw the ball away, and just stood there taking sacks 10 seconds+ into the play. Any QB at the NFL level has to know he doesn't have that long to make a play, especially a guy in his 14th year. He's not going to change. If he's not pressured and his guys are open, he's going to look like a worldbeater....but as soon as he faces a defense that can cover his guys, or can get pressure on him, he's going to revert right back to holding the ball in the pocket looking around like a lost puppy until someone sacks him.

Romo cannot possibly be any worse. He may not be better, who knows....lets see how he does when he has more time to prepare and actually knows he's starting (if that is the case now), but he CAN'T be worse....trust me on that.

I think Romo has a lot of potential.. he made some very bad decisions, however once he can learn to work those out, I think he will actually be a good QB.

Fuck Bledsoe - the guy is done, has been for a while now - have to agree w/ Stif on that one..

Kevin, how can you trade Romo for an offensive lineman when the trade deadline is over?

It's gotta be Romo. Bledsoe is a statue and is terrible. I'm a Cowboys fan and I can't take him anymore. He just sits there tapping the ball non-stop until he gets sacked. There's only so many redzone turnovers we can take. Parcells said that he thought about starting Romo 2 weeks ago but didn't pull the trigger.

All I have to say is that it's about damn time.

I think Romo will still have his downs more than his ups, being so inexperienced, but shit how can you get experience, by only getting in there.

I have been bledsoe's biggest supporter since he got here, but when the O-Line is just below average, you have to go to Romo the more mobile and quicker release.

He was totally put in a bad spot last week against the Giants last week IMO....MNF game, and put in at halftime, no matter what they say, saying you have to be ready to go in at all times, when you;re told at half, and when the starter isnt hurt, you cant be ready no matter what.

like what everyone said, he should have started the week before against hou to build some confidence after bledsoe sucked it up against Philly.

but as Parcells has a hard job, at least he did it now rather than later.

We'll see later on how this pans out though. Tonights win on the road was HUGE. I dunno how they contained Steve Smith to tell you the truth!

What? I could think of about 10 D-linemen that I would rather have than Peppers. And most of the guys I would pick make half the salary and put up the same numbers.
