ytd 54-46 (+29.05 units)
dog ml's (included in ytd) 5-8 (+1.90 units)

1pm eastern games:

Cincinnati Bengals -3 (+104)
Miami Dolphins -5
NY Jets -3.5 (-113)

2.5 units each

KC Chiefs +5.5 (+100)
Buffalo Bills +6 (-105)
Tampa Bay Bucs +6 (+103)

2 units each

KC Chiefs ML +225
Buffalo Bills ML +230
Tampa Bay Bucs ML +240

½ unit each

Don't see any value in Pitt/Atlanta or Jax/Houston as of right now. I sure don't see Houston winning outright, but I have issues with laying so many points on the road, and I'm not sure at this point what to expect of either the Steelers or Falcons.

I'm layin off Buffalo, but feel they could give NE a game. My concern is the inability to stop the run, pretty much the only thing NE has going for them this year IMO. Ran into Losman at the store this week...some crackhead was trying to sell him fake jewelry lol. Scary taking Miami, but IMO it's the right side as they still have a solid pass defense.....GL today

LOL, thanks.

It's the first, and it'll probably be the last time I play the Bengals this year (since if they win, the public will fall back in love with them and their lines will be outrageous again).

I like catching them off 2 losses though going against a team everyone is in love with right now in Carolina.

Now I don't think the Bengals are that great mind you, but I do think they can handle the Panthers @ home.

I look at it this way. Everyone says "Panthers are 4-0 since Steve Smith returned".

I say "Against TB, Cleveland and Baltimore, and then the letdown game of the century against the Saints"

Now what do those teams (minus the Saints) have in common?

LITTLE TO NO OFFENSE.

Bengals don't have that problem, and now @ 3-2, and off 2 straight losses, I see the Bengals in a similar situation to where Pitt was last week. Not quite as desperate, but a must win never the less if they plan on making the playoffs in the AFC, where 10-6 could possibly get you excluded.

LMAO Udog, that's funny about Losman.

I just say "pick the winner" with Miami. Thinking GB is going to win on the road is a little far fetched IMO. Miami is a far better team than GB, and I'm trusting them to cover the 5, since I think they'll win outright.

To be honest, I don't think the Bills is the strongest pick of the week (far from it actually)....and I debated laying off of it....but I'm just not any too impressed with NE this year.

Hopefully Spikes is effective today like he was in the first game when they played at NE before going out early with the injury.

Not that this has anything to do with today's game, but Buffalo will be a better team than NE next year IMO. They're not yet this year, but the guard IS changing in the AFC East. There's something about this year's team that I like much more so than for the last few years, and I think anyone that can't see that NE is in decline mode is not looking very closely.

I think the Browns are one of the two strongest plays of the day (along with KC)

GL man, like your picks (hope thats good)

agree with cincy though of course we will see. but see what i perceive is carolina on the road not a good cover team, i mean sure they are 2-1 SU but i dont have the numbers with me, but are they like what 0-3 or 1-2 ATS?

just playing on that for your reasons and for what i said above.

GL again

Thanks. Too bad I took Miami as a fave, lol. How BAD are the Fins to get hammered at home by GREEN BAY??

And I'll take the push on the Bengals. I actually thought they'd win by more (obviously), but after their offense looked dead in the 1st half, i was glad for the 2nd half effort and the push.

Really a tale of two halfs, Stiff. The Bengals made some adjustments and put Big Willy Anderson on Peppers...didn't hear Peppers' name in the second half. I gotta give those Bengals credit....Marvin made some second half adjustments and the Bengals owned the last three quarters (minus the final two minutes in the first half)....Jake got greedy and threw an INT in the endzone in the last 3 minutes...that game could have been tied and who knows.....

Either way.....WHO FRIGGIN' DEY!!!!!!:gulp:

Yea, In a way I was happy for the interception and the push, and I was in a way hoping for a Carolina FG there on that drive where the Bengals got that interception, cause I thought the Bengals might go down and get a TD and cover the spread with I believe about 4 minutes and something left on the clock at that point. Maybe it was 3 mins and something...but either way, enough time to get a TD for sure. And they did have enough of a drive to score too there at the end, but unfortunately Carolina ran out of timeouts and they could just run the clock down and punt with a few seconds left.

Actually, when they sacked Delhomme at the end, I was hoping he'd run back into the end zone and somehow take a safety, LOL

Anyway, definitely a nice job by the Bengals adjusting at the half, and a nice win. You gotta take your home games if you wanna make the playoffs in the AFC...especially when playing an NFC team, which i feel is still the far weaker conference from top to bottom.

IS Hasselback hurt? I see Seneca Wallace is in throwing a slew of incomplete passes and interceptions. No wonder the Seahags can't score, and are going to lose @ home to the Viqueens, lol

You are right about Philly, my reasoning was they would protect the ball.... probably will only play them vs weak teams...Great day

Philly is just one of those seems I see as majorly over rated. They don't suck, but I don't think they're an elite team either like way too many were giving them credit for after beating some pretty crappy teams (SF, Houston and GB)....and not a team that should be nearly a TD fave on the road against a decent defensive team like Tampa.

I think they're a much better play @ home though....or if they'd be short dogs on the road like they should be.

They make a not so good road fave unless they're playing someone like Houston or SF who they can hammer because I don't think they have the defense, or the offensive consistency (mostly the lack of a strong running game) to put away any kind of quality opponents on the road.

im an eagles fan so im gonna try and not be biased here, but the eagles are just a few bounces from being 7-0. hear me out. giants collapse in OT could have gone the other way because akers hit the upright on a fg earlier i nthe game which would have won it. Eagles could have beaten the saints if it werent for a fumbled punt return where another eagles player ran into the returner which set up a td before the half for saints. and tampa well, we all know how that oculd have been a win for the eagles. i know shoulda, coulda, woulda but those are some very small errors that could have this team in a completel different spot. The fact that they did lose those games could be a for a number of reasons but why are they not elite? their pass defense isnt very good i know, but the rest of the defense is pretty stellar. lots of penalties this year is one area i think needs to improve as we always seem to have some pretty big penalties at crucial times. and i think the eagles do have a running game, but andy reid chooses not to use it. if we can run for 200 yds on a pretty good run defense of tampa then i dont see how we dont have a run game. i think that can be chalked up to andy getting caught up in the passing game. this is just my opinion so dont jump down my throat or anything. im not saying ur wrong and im right at all this is just my take on things.
