I believe I have accomplished something no one else ever had. Im a huge Bears fan so Im watching the game with two of my friends. I had big money riding on the game and was so pissed once they were down 20 going into the third quarter.
Infront of my couch I have a glass coffee table, its thick glass and the table weighs around 50 pounds or so.
In the fourth quarter when Devin Hester got the punt, I yelled out come on punt return, as soon as he got the big block and broke into the open I kicked my foot into the air, my foot nailed the coffee table, broke the glass, broke my toe, broke my skin good for 12 stiches.
I got blood on my bears jersey and almost passed out but thank god I live in Canada (free health care) and thank god the hospital is only about 6 doors down the street.
Being a Bears fan you gotta be tough and takes what comes at you, I learned it the hard way, but hey, were 6-0 on our way to 16-0. Go Bears!
